Not just another steakhouse, Steak 48 - Philadelphia is a contemporary steakhouse featuring prime steaks, a raw bar and extensive fresh seafood selection, other unique appetizers and side dishes including a double baked truffle potato, asparagus fries and corn crème brûlée, classic cocktails and an extensive award winning wine list.

In order to support our service staff there is a 20% gratuity on all checks. At Steak 48, we encourage all of our guests to get dressed up for a great experience. In order to maintain an enjoyable environment for all guests, athletic wear, excessively revealing clothing, exposed undergarments will not be permitted. We prefer no printed t-shirts, hats or visors and always appreciate collared shirts or sports coats. Please dress as your elegant selves. You are going to have a great time!

We dined here for our first time for my husband’s birthday. As we were seated he received a hand written card from the GM wishing him a happy birthday and thanking us for dining with Steak48. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about all of our questions, and made terrific suggestions. He gave the time we needed to order, he never made us feel rushed, or forgotten. It was the perfect amount of attentiveness. We tried the steak tartare, chicken fried lobster tails, butcher’s cut (special, not on menu), Brussels sprouts, potatoes au gratin, vanilla caramel cake, espresso martini, old fashioned, Paradux red blend, and Obsidian Cab (good news, 9oz pours!). I would recommend trying everything we had. We were over the moon with every bite and sip. I highly recommend dining here if you want to try tastings that are unique and delicious— feels very much like a “special occasion” dinner. For our older friends, the restaurant is lowly lit in some areas so you may need a flashlight for your menu (we were fine though). And for all friends, get ready to spend a bit. The items we had were around $600 with tip and tax included.

Our server was phenomenal. He was attentive but not smothering - and all knowing, lol. He made super recommendations with interesting stories to go along with each. He made the experience for me - I’ve been here before and the service was always good but he made it that much better.

Had a good dinner with friends. I had mentioned in the reservation that it was a birthday dinner and Steak 48 gave them a card and a lovely dessert. Great experience.

Seang, our waiter was great and attentive. My steak was supposed to be medium but it wound up being well done due to the sizzling hot plates. The waiter and the manager offered to take it back but I declined. Despite it being the being overcooked it was still juicy and tender.

Once again Steak 48 Stepped up as we brought first time visitors your establishment and they loved it. from the chicken fried lobster and deviled egg appetizer the shared Tomahawk steak cooked perfectly, to the cocktails. Everything was first rate as was our server Michael. Well done to Leo, Jess, Chef Ron and the entire team. Well done everyone.

King Crab legs, fillet, cream corn brulee...what more can you ask for...well a bottle of Caymus. We celebrated my girlfriend's birthday and dinner was outstanding. A huge shout out to Steak 48 for giving us a memorable evening.
