What a special evening at this unique restaurant. The food was wonderful, the service impeccable, the pace was just right. The music was a little loud, but other than that, it couldn’t have been a nicer experience. We had the steak, baked potato, mushrooms, wedge salad, and incredible key lime pie for dessert.

Great atmosphere for a steak house. The food was good. We enjoyed all our meals. Dessert was fair. Appetizers were good. Very pricey service was alert. Great waitress. Very bubbly.

My husband and I are extremely impressed with the customer service. The staff is so attentive all the time. The food is very good as well. We can’t wait to go back and try their other dishes.

Great drinks, server great, our fillets ordered medium were a tad over cooked more med/well which I would not expect at this establishment but everything tasted good.

We have eaten at Steak 48 on several occasions since it opened, and it was always a stellar experience. We had told friends how good it was, and last night, we dined with friends who wanted to try it. It was sadly not the stellar experience we had in past visits. We were seated in a small cramped dining area where the noise level was so high, it was nearly impossible to hear questions from the wait staff, let alone visit with our friends. My seat was crowded into the table behind us and my chair was continually bumped by the person sitting behind me. It started out with the wonderful bread arriving, which we recalled had been gooey and buttery in previous visits. It was dry, but perhaps that is a new recipe…? Although still tasty, my steak was overcooked and I don’t know if that was a result of a miscommunication between our wait person and me due to the level of noise and inability to really communicate with anyone, or if it was just overcooked. I asked for medium and it came well done and brown throughout with no pink at all. When you are paying that much for a steak, it should be the way the diner requests it. In previous visits, there was much more presentation and attention given to the diners and the meal, than was served up last night. The food seemed to be plopped down in front of us, rather than presented. Steak 48 is no longer the experience it was, at least last night. We were disappointed and felt our friends were also disappointed, after our raving about the place.
