The service at this place was phenomenal. Our server Brian went about and beyond, nothing like I have ever seen before at steakhouse restaurant. The food was delicious. Highly recommend this place for great steakhouse experience.

Had a wonderful family dinner and everyone enjoyed their meal. Has the NY with a number of really good sides and salads. Service was great with no issues. My wife’s well done steak was a tad charred but she said it was good. However, this is a challenge with many steakhouses that do not know how to do well done filet (even though we had is butterflied). This is the first time Steak 48 could not get it right. We dine here relatively frequently and will be back.

It was terrific. They even called me the next day, thanking us for coming! I’ve never had a restaurant do that before.

Overall, another great experience here. Food and service was outstanding and have not found a bad dish yet. Have been here about a half dozen times on both business and pleasure and the accommodate both models extremely well including even big parties with a pre-fix menu. Can go wrong with the restaurant and is a favorite for me.

Everything was great! Staff was friendly, waiter was fantastic and the food was amazing. Was a perfect birthday celebration for my son.

Amazing food and service. They really care about crafting a great experience. We went for a family birthday and the quality of food, portion sizes, flavors, presentation and ambience were excellent. We had kids with us and the waitstaff were very respectful and considerate of their needs. The only criticism, if it even qualifies as one, is the pricing. If you go for upmarket items like Wagyu steak, you will of course expect sky high prices, but all of their menu items are at a $$$$ level (think ~$20 side dishes, $30 appetizers). In other restaurants, such pricing would be a turn-off, especially if the food, atmosphere and service were not so good, but Steak 48 does so well on all of these that the surcharge is kind of worth it. The restaurant is now high on our list of favorite places to dine in southern California. It's not an every month kind of steakhouse - this is special occasion, make-an-impression restaurant dining but we will definitely be back!

We celebrated a birthday and the staff and manager was so kind as to personally write a birthday card. What special attention to detail. The food was amazing and the service was top notch. One of my family’s favorite spots to dine.

The service is always terrific! We really appreciated Veronica’s kindness and attention to detail. Phenomenal martinis as usual! The iberico pork chops were a generous portion and delicious. The superfood salad and sautéed wild mushrooms were outstanding. A new favorite, the crispy hasselback potato! I look forward to celebrating my birthday and returning soon!
