At Steak 48, we serve the finest steaks and high-quality seafood in an intimate and vibrant setting. Our diverse menu will satisfy any personal craving, as we serve the best USDA prime steaks, succulent seafood and shellfish along with inventive and classically inspired side dishes and appetizers. Located in River North, on bustling Wabash Avenue, Steak 48 brings a contemporary atmosphere to Chicago's dining scene. I’ve always enjoyed dining at your restaurant, but unfortunately, my visit last night did not meet the usual standards. I had to send my steak back due to an incorrect temperature, and when it returned, I had already finished my sides. Additionally, the corn was underseasoned and also needed to be sent back. I appreciate the manager's efforts to address the issues, but the steak still didn’t meet my expectations. To make matters worse, it took 40 minutes to close out my bill due to difficulties with a gift card, which caused me to miss a show I had planned to attend. This was particularly disappointing, as I had been looking forward to celebrating my birthday. I would sincerely appreciate a chance to have a better experience, as my birthday dinner did not turn out as I had hoped. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to hearing from you.

We were there for our 25th Anniversary. Excelente service as soon as you walk in, from the greeters to the waiters and the bus boys congratulating us. Food was delicious, steak cooked to perfection and the sides particularly the corn brule were great. Highly recommend the place.

We had 3 extremely loud table behind us, it was hard to hear. Food was excellent. Our service to get order was slow, food did come out quickly.

Our dining experience was fantastic, all thanks to Trace C. She was incredibly attentive, kind, and made us feel welcome from start to finish. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and made great recommendations. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality these days—highly recommend asking for her if you visit !
