First and foremost, talk about amazing service! From the moment we checked in, to our hostess showing us to our table, our waiter and the servers! Amazing! Our waiter, Walker made our experience an absolute pleasure. He acknowledged my reservation request for Gluten menu recommendations as my bf has a gluten allergy. Walker was great at going over the menu, giving recommendation’s and was very knowledgeable and friendly. He is the epitome of phenomenal service and truly an invaluable asset to Steak 48. As far as the food: delicious! The steaks are perfectly seasoned and HOT! Literally still sizzling at your table. Portions for the sides are kinda small but def enough for 2-3 people to share. I would highly recommend and come back! Important to note: it gets very very busy after 6-6:30! Our reservations were at 5:15pm and when we left around 7:15, there was quite a wait.

We had a great evening last night celebrating my wife’s birthday at Steak 48. Amber was a fantastic server, cocktails & wine were awesome and the food was absolutely delicious!

Steak 48 never disappoint. This evening was no different. The hostess was very attentive and ensured my guest were made awareness of the newest additions to the menu. While the food was absolutely delicious and my guests enjoyed it immensely, the highlight of the evening was interacting with Trace. She has such an amazing personality and energy. If more people exhibit her behaviors and character, the world would be an amazing place.

I was really excited to try Steak 48 but was not impressed. The steak lacked flavor. The fried shrimp appetizer tasted like pre frozen shrimp in sauce and I didn't care for the smokiness of the creamed spinach. My margarita was not good. The service was wonderful and the waiter very attentive, I just did not care for my meal. I was visiting Chicago for work but I live in Charlotte so I may give it one more try in Charlotte as the Charlotte location gets rave reviews.

Every time I am in town I cannot miss a dinner at Steak 48. Petite Filet mignon with corn creme brulee and mashed potato is my favorite. And for dessert the donuts tree with frsh cream and chocolate sauce. Service and ambient is superb, the best steak house in Chicago

Literally the best steak we’ve had in the U.S.! Service was immaculate and the attention to detail was incredible. We went for our 5th anniversary and they definitely made the night special.
