It did not live up to the hype considered they have a higher rank than Capital Grille and Eddie V. The temperature of the meat was spot on. But the quality was horrendous. Filet had liver taste. Prime rib was 2/3 fat. The vegetables were not cooked to order and overcooked. Food was over seasoned with garlic and butter. The merrior of the oysters were wiped clean as though it was rinsed in fresh water. The service was excellent.

We had a great time. The service was excellent, Pete, Joe, and Tina were our servers. They could not have been better. Friendly, professional, polite, and took care of our every need. I had the Prime Rib. It was delivered just like I asked for ( rare ). My wife had the Chicken Francaise it was perfect. We were celebrating our 23rd anniversary. It could not have been more enjoyable. I would recommend this Steak 38 to everyone, I know it won't be the last time we are there. The hostess stafe were also very pleasant and friendly.

The table shook and wobbled and was not comfortable. Steak was very good but the lobster tail was tough and overcooked. Too many interruptions by wait staff but they were very nice and did a good job otherwise.

Appetizers, Shrimp cocktails taste and presentation good. Lobster Bisque good no lobster pieces though. Entries, delivered to table Hot and at the same time. New York strip steak Cooked and seasoned prefect. Prime rib and rib eye the same, but fattier then expected. Dessert, Carrot cake very good and big enough to share with 4 people, Service was Good

Steak 38 is one of my favorite restaurants. Food and service were excellent and both my companion and I enjoyed the evening. We both had the ribeye steak which was delicious.

Paid $300 almost for me&my wife’s dinner which is fine but first let me start with my waiter , she came got our order then came out w our drinks, we never saw her again then when we asked someone else who works their for refills on our drinks they told us they’d be right back, never came back so then we finally get our steaks and we ordered the exact same meal but my wife likes her steak more cooked, they both come out medium/medium rare. My wife brought hers home to make w breakfast the next mourning. Then we asked another waitress again for refills on our drinks who proceeded to get another waitress abt 4-5 mins later to ask us if we needed anything so we again told them drinks and now boxes/check at this point being annoyed and then they bring us out refills FINALLY with our check. For a $225 dinner for 2 w no appetizers or deserts I feel like we should have 1000% been better valued/cared for & also should not home to go find my own bag and box’s to pack my food up because I’m so annoyed I can’t get a drink to go with my meal. Can definitely find better establishments near by!

What has become a popular destination for us was put to the test on our last outing We had a 745PM reservation. We were not seated until 815. The bar was very crowded and no one wanted to give up their seats. Waiting is not very adequate. However, once we were seated, we enjoyed a very good meal. The Cesar salad for 2 did not disappoint. My rack of lamb was delicious, cooked perfectly. And as usual, my wife's filet was point on. It was worth the wait.

Food and service was excellent. First time there and it was very dark inside and the music was extremely loud for dining, couldn't hear each other talking.
