Our family had a wonderful time at dinner. It was my wife’s birthday and the server was very professional and attentive. The food and drinks were amazing. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

A dining experience, not just dinner. The staff was exceptional, from valet parking, the hostess, our waiter, singing Sam, and his assistants for table side Caesar salad, banannas foster and smoked cocktails. Loved the 60/70’s vibe Motown and Sinatra and some great old photos on the walls. Tables are tastefully spaced and allowed for normal conversation. The food was off the hook! From the bread and complimentary peppers to the perfectly cooked prime rib. 2 hour round trip for us but so worth it!

Great dinner at a very traditional steakhouse. Our server, Rochelle, was fantastic! Food was great, loved the ambiance, will definitely be back.

I had heard great things about Steak 38 despite it being in a unique location. I made reservations for my fiancé's birthday. We arrived and only waited about 10 minutes to be seated. Once seated, we were told our server would be over as soon as he could. Guess it was a busy night. He came and bought us some bread. We later learned that it's customary to also bring roasted peppers with the bread. It seems our waiter remembered later and apologized bringing new bread and peppers. We waited a bit for our drinks too. Overall our drinks and appetizer was delicious. We ordered food which took a little longer that I would've expected but it was delicious and hot. Inadvertently, our server forget to put in our Macaroni and cheese. So we had to wait for it, but again our waiter apologized and didn't charge us for it. I had specified during the reservation that it was a special occasion, my fiancé birthday. Our server heard me mention it and then asked. I told him that I had disclosed during the reservation, he mentioned that no one told him. He did sing to us and bring my fiancé out a free desert of his choice. Again, the food was delicious, our server was kind, but there were so many little misses that it kind of took away from the experience. I've heard such great things about the restaurant, but not sure I'd go back again unless just to sit at the bar for their cocktail menu. Perhaps it was just a busy night for them.

As always, the Steak 38 for two was outstanding. Rob the bartender makes a great Old-Fashioned! Only disappointment was that the bar was out of Miller Lite.

The food was excellent. I liked the atmosphere. It was a little loud for me. It was a little pricey but if you want a nice celebration for a special occasion I would highly recommend it

The food was great and that is most important but service matters too. I won’t fault our server because he was friendly, perhaps not as refined as a high end steak house warrants, but friendly. The servers clearly have too much on their plate. First, it took a solid 15 minutes after being seated before the server came to our table. Then throughout the night we just didn’t see him as often as I see most servers in restaurants and definitely not enough for a high end steak house. In his defense Steak 38 has their servers doing everything from smoking cocktails table side to table side Caesars salad to table side deserts. All of this show is great for the individual table but for the rest of that servers tables the service majorly suffers. In most restaurants that offer table side items there is either more support staff or someone from the kitchen or bar does the table side show. Would I give Steak 38 another shot? For sure, but they really need more service or support staff because I heard multiple tables complaining among themselves about the items I had issue with. Food was great but we are going for food, service and ambiance and the service lacked due to no fault of the servers. The parking and neighboring motel is DEFINITELY sketchy. Be prepared but don’t let it change your mind.

This establishment came highly recommended and when you pull in to park you start to question it. DON’T back out! This place was AMAZING! Starting with the service, our waiter Sam was so great. He had great recommendations drink wise and was always stopping to check in on us. Joe was our table side prep guy and he was super nice and talkative as well. Both made us feel like family the moment they started talking. Now the food, I’m still dreaming about it! The table side Caesar Salad was very yummy. I luv how Joe explained how to make it all and we were able to watch step by step. I had no clue there were anchovies in Caesar dressing, but they blended in perfectly and you couldn’t tell at all. The steak was probably the best filet I have ever had. It was cooked to perfection, and the buttery crab topping was a great addition. The garlic green beans and mashed potatoes were perfect sides. Last but certainly not least, table side bananas foster. This was my first time having it and I think I’m ruined for life now 🤤 Over all, everything was spectacular! For, service and, ambiance, we couldn’t have asked for a better dinner and night out! OH and Sam has such a beautiful singing voice and sang us a song! wonder experience and we will definitely be returning soon! Thank you Steak 38!
