My wife and I were beyond being impressed with the service and food (which by far was the star of our visit). The portions and value are synced well, with a more than acceptable wait time. Status Hollywood is our “go-to” restaurant for Jamaican cuisine!!!

LOVED the food. LOVED the vibe and the ambiance. Didn't love that they don't have a liquor license. Really? This restaurant is wayyyy too grown & sexy to not serve alcohol. I hope when I return the tropical drinks will be flowing to compliment the delicious food. 😋

Overall, my family and I enjoyed everything food, service, atmosphere, was awesome. We will definitely be back.

Unfortunately we had to leave the restaurant because they didn’t have all the ingredients for the items on the menu. We arrived and I literally had to ask if they were open because they were setting up an event no Hi no nothing smh. The bartender/server was very nice that’s the only positive. Heard so many positive things about this spot but I won’t return. It was a huge waste of time out of my day. I had to book a new reservation somewhere else. Then they had the nerve to have us save our reservation with our card smh makes no sense. If you’re not ready to host guests at your establishment remove your restaurant from the opentable platform.

Came for a bday dinner and was very satisfied. One of the owners, Phabio, made sure to check on us and ensured we had great service. The food was amazing. Ambiance was good also.highly recommend!

I normally don't do reviews, but I was EXTREMELY UNDERWHELMED by the experience. I decided to try this place because the review were amazing and I wanted to try something different. To give a bit of context, I was taking my sister out for Mother's Day and wanted to try thus "upscale Caribbean restaurant" (we're both of Caribbean decent). We arrived on time, as you are asked to leave a credit card to place reservations. The waitresses appeared to be bottle girls and not trained in the restaurant business. I asked the waitress about some ingredients and she stated it had only been her third day working there. Next the chef came out to address my question about ingredients and claimed the food would not disappoint. Well.... I and my guest were less than pleased. I didn't get the feeling of "upscale restaurant" from the waitresses, to the food, to the faint smell of Marijuana smoke coming in from the entrance ( my sis and I were sat by the door). Needless to say, I will not be going back to Status anytime soon. There was too much left to be desired!

One of the most delicious Jamaican meals I’ve had since away from the island. Our waitress from Ethiopia was friendly and welcoming. Portions were just right, we felt satisfied. Only issue for us… The music was incredibly loud thus not giving a five star for the ambiance…. But… Great job to the folks in the kitchen. Highly recommended!
