A corner bar and restaurant nestled on the edge of Raleigh’s Historic Oakwood neighborhood, blending amongst the residential streets like a refuge. In the location that originally served as an Amoco gas station- The Station pays tribute to Raleigh’s rich past as well as present.
A cozy, rustic, watering-hole inviting you to hobnob and toast one another over a bucket of suds, a locally crafted brew or an artisinal cocktail. Creative, insightful takes on classic dishes that have been hand-crafted to set the tone for comfort. A place to linger. This is The Station. Welcome home, neighbor.
The Station offers a “third space” that is uniquely Raleigh. Spacious outdoor and indoor dining areas, adorned with wood and metal, offer a range of accommodations for our friends.

Sat outside under cover, had a great meal with great service (nice job Gabby) and it was at a reasonable price. Will visit again!

We've been to the Station many times and always liked the food and atmosphere, with the one caveat that these visits were typically a weeknight. This visit was a Saturday night and my ratings are probably kind. The service was okay but it took forever to get our food, and then two of us didn't get ours until after the others were virtually done -- and then one of them was the wrong thing (both of these items did get comped without us asking). The food wasn't bad, but some of it was overcooked. And when I paid, I gave her my card and thought I'd get an opportunity to tip but she left with the payment machine -- so I don't know what the total bill was, or if there was any tip on it!

Enjoyed a nice evening in patio. Tried a flight of wines a bit pricey for the Cru but ok. The charcuterie was lovely and salmon delicious. The cream brûlée fell flat but overall we had a nice experience. I will come back to try more wines and enjoy the atmosphere.

Friendly, attentive service. Not crowded on a Sunday evening. Good burger. Extensive beer selections. Nice neighborhood. Street parking. Large outdoor area, but given high temperatures, I ate outside. Would visit again for a casual meal.

Slow service but it was Mother's Day. Took at least 10 mins to get our drinks. Food was just ok. Cute spot though and great soft rock-n-roll music.

Went for Sunday breakfast/brunch and the menu was very limited due to most items not being available. Breakfast sandwich and breakfast wraps were average. Service was slow as the restaurant was under staffed. Two wait staff that also served as bartenders. Hopefully just an off morning and not the norm, but disappointing for us.

We were a large party on Sunday with reservations. Our service was awesome and food was delicious! We were pleased to be able to order from the regular menu and the brunch menu. Portion sizes were great and most of our plates were empty.

Was served extremely undercooked shrimp on our salad. Had to send back to have it recooked. Other than that everything was great; waiters and waitresses were extremely apologetic. Ordered tots, wings, and the salad with shrimp.

This isn't gourmet fare, but everything we've had in two recent visits was delicious. The burger with pork belly will solidify your arteries, the catfish was fat and fresh, the chicken salad was nice, the Brussels sprouts side is perfect, the grandson devoured the fried chicken and waffle, and there's a bunch of beer on draft to choose from.
