We went for dinner at 8:30 and they were out of most everything we tried to order. When we chose a replacement they were also out of that. I ended up with an entree that was OK but was also overpriced even though it had less on it because I needed a vegetarian option and they were out of all of those options. The waiter was nice enough but he did not offer to comp any of our meal due to the wait and basically not having anything we wanted "in stock". Our bill of over $100 was not worth it. Overall was a disappointing experience for a restaurant we were pretty excited to go after getting a recommendation.

Great food. Server was not the best or would be 5 stars all around. Never brought my husband’s second beer and after waiting 20 minutes for dessert we ordered he came and asked if we wanted anything else. Later tried to blame on kitchen and bar being busy even without us asking. But the food will have us come back next time in Chattanooga!!!!

Great food and even greater service! Ran out of the seafood skillet we wanted though so that was a bummer.

The food is excellent! The menu has many delicious options. However, I’ve been to the restaurant twice now and each time the waiter and waitress have been awful. They forget what I’ve ordered even after writing it down. They don’t refresh your drinks. They don’t understand the menu and the food on the menu. I understand the restaurant is called State of confusion and if the service is supposed to reflect that then you’re doing great.

Ambiance and music was fun on a really Record breaking hot Day in Chattanooga. Food always delicious with seviches and lettuce wraps. We were so thirsty though- we ordered teas but our server kept giving us half full glasses with very little to no ice. When We asked for more ice tea he only filled one of the glasses which we found really odd. Otherwise it would have been a five for the whole experience. I wish I could say he was busy but there were only a few patrons as it was three thirty in the afternoon.

Our food was great as was our server. The only issue we had was with our son’s food. Apparently it was “dropped” so it had to be remade and didn’t come out until the rest of the table was done eating. Although understandable as this kinda stuff happens, it was frustrating with a hungry toddler.

We had the soft shell crab sandwich and the pan seared chicken. Both items were really tasty. Our server, Mary K, was very friendly and readily offered suggestions.

Love this place. We go every time we are in Chattanooga. Skirt steak and stuffed sweet potatoes are favorites.
