D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : Manger dans un restaurant étoilé Michelin peut paraître un peu solennel, mais il en va tout autrement au State Bird Provisions. Le plus difficile (et le plus plaisant) est de s'en tenir à sa commande, alors qu'un chariot de dim sum passe devant vous, chargé de pancakes à la choucroute au fromage ou de plats néo-américains aux accents asiatiques. Grâce à une carte toujours renouvelée des chef·fe·s Stuart Brioza et Nicole Krasinski, lauréat·e·s du James Beard Award, chaque visite s'avère encore plus savoureuse que la précédente.

State Bird is excited to welcome Chef Nick Curtola of The Four Horsemen as they release their first cookbook! The Four Horsemen is a Michelin starred restaurant in Brooklyn, NY that specializes in creative and deceptively simple cuisine with a focus on seafood and seasonal produce. Chef Nick Curtola, originally from The Bay Area, pays homage to his native California roots by creating clean, vibrant and fresh dishes that are thoughtful and inspiring and lean heavily on sourcing and quality of ingredients. The restaurant also received the James Beard Award for best wine program in the country. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a few dishes from the restaurant alongside State Bird's nightly menu. Books will be available to purchase.

Great service, phenomenal dishes both in look and taste! The restaurant has a lively and exciting atmosphere with food constantly circulating around. It’s a foodie’s dream restaurant!

We celebrated two birthdays and the experiences as usual was superb. My sister and brother in law are newbies to State Bird. The food experience and Heather’s service were great.

Great food, but dinner was a little rushed. I came here for date night with my husband but it's better as a place to go before a show. You can probably get in and out in 45 minutes to an hour.

Although I am a foodie and have been in the industry for years, I never leave reviews. HOWEVER, I needed to shout out the team at SBP. Fantastic, unique and innovative experience with an outstanding and diverse menu. Don’t leave without trying the namesake item! And let the circulating offerings cycle a bit before you order too much from the printed menu! The staff was kind and happy. So fun. Thank you!

I'll be honest. I'm not wowed by a lot of restaurants. It's probably me, but so many of the meals are forgettable. Ever since I ate at State Bird Provisions I can't stop telling everyone I know how great a restaurant it is. I will lead off with the service. This is not a pretentious restaurant. They have managed to combine the feeling of casual with the best service you can find anywhere. The staff knew the details of the food they served and could explain the nuances of the ingredients. Since the restaurant is dim sum style, we interacted with a lot of the wait staff and every single one was top notch and personable. The food is amazing. I almost feel as if we tried one of everything. I could have probably had an entire meal from the trout dip and potato chips. For a main, we had the schnitzel which was wonderful. The oysters were out of this world, which is hard to do with oysters since they could be considered a bit of a commodity. This is maybe, the only restaurant where I left and wanted to make another reservation immediately.
