Welcome to State & Main Pickering. We serve elevated comfort food and cocktails, providing a vibrant downtown atmosphere in your neighbourhood restaurant & bar. Our location on the south side of the mall is a great commuter location. We're five minutes east of the brand-new Pickering Casino and also close to the Cineplex Theater! Visit us for dinner and then treat yourself to a fun night out with friends or your significant other. Pickering Town Centre has plenty of shops and some events.                                                                                           We sat at a hightop in the bar. Service was excellent. Bang Bang shrimp was amazing as usual along with the burgers, lettuce wraps and West Coast chop salad. We always have a good meal and great service at this location.

                                                                                          Girls night out was fun. Our server was attentive and lovely. Food was great. Portions a decent size. Next time we’ll go on a Thursday as it’s 1/2 price bottles of wine.

                                                                                          Service was terrible no staff knew what to do. Every table waited at least 15 mins before a waitstaff even showed up. Not one table had cutlery when their food arrived. So many people got up from their tables and went and found their own silverware because their food was sitting getting cold and there wasn’t any waitstaff insight to be able to help them. We waited 10 minutes for some ketcup, by the time it arrived the fries were cold we didn’t need to it anymore as the food was cold. We witnessed this at every single table throughout the entire restaurant.

                                                                                          We enjoyed another great meal in the bar at our S&M Pickering. Bang Bang Shrimp was amazing along with my husbands' wings and my West Coast Chop Salad. Service was prompt and attentive as always.

                                                                                          Absolute terrible experience. Waited almost 20 minutes for someone to come and take our drink order. Server said she didn’t know we had been assigned to her section. Took our drink and food order. Food came out in 20 minutes, still no drinks, not even a water. Had to tell the person that brought our food that we didn’t have our drinks yet. Drinks finally showed up after about 45 minutes from arrival. My salad did not have the grilled chicken that I ordered. Had a total of about 5 pieces of shredded cheese in it. Waitress said it would take 5-7 minutes for chicken to be made, I told her to forget it. They never asked my husband how his baja fish taco’s were. Which were bland and had the smallest piece of fish in it that I’ve ever seen. They did take my salad off our bill which was nice but our waitress never had the decency to come back and apologize for her terrible service.

                                                                                          Our party of three had a great experience at State + Maine. The appetizers, the main course, and dessert tasted great. For apps we had the Brussel sprouts and the chicken lettuce wraps. Both were very good. For our mains we enjoyed the tuna poke bowl, which packs a little heat, the butter chicken, and stir fry. All very tasty as well. For dessert we split the brownie with ice cream. Quite a generous portion of brownie - good thing we had three spoons so we could share. The staff are very friendly and helped make the night very enjoyable. We’ll definitely come back.

                                                                                          The restaurant State & Main in Pickering was clean, quiet..my wife ordered the Miso Cod...was fabulous...I ordered the strip loin steak....it was cooked to my order...but was luke warm by the time it arrived. Also had strawberry cheesecake for dessert...was delicious.
