Welcome to State & Main Oakville. We serve elevated comfort food and cocktails, providing a vibrant downtown atmosphere in your neighbourhood restaurant & bar. Our location in North Oakville is just south of Highway 5. We are excited to be a part of a steadily growing community as the area has so much to offer.                                                                                         Met 5 ladies for a Birthday lunch, brought in my own cake and from the moment we walked through the door, the service was excellent! Our server Taylor was friendly, personable and went above and beyond. All of the meals were well presented and DELICIOUS! Everyone marvelled at the menu choices and the adaptability for various requests. Asking about food allergies is on point. Highly recommend and all the ladies I invited sassy red they’d be back as well. I even ordered an extra menu item to bring home for my husband, it’s that good!

                                                                                        We went for Happy Hour, the macoroni & cheese was very tasty (A little dry, so we asked for extra sauce), the Bang, bang shrimp was fantastic, the pretzel sticks were addictive (particularly dipped in the extra sauce from the Mac & Cheeae) & the fish taco was average to below average (really somewhat tasteless). The overall experience was good to very good (the service was excellant; our server was happy and very helpful), and we will be back.

                                                                                        Lovely patio even though the traffic was a little noisy at times. Our waitress was fantastic, gave us time to visit and chat. The food was very good, and always has been in my experience.

                                                                                        Wasn’t too busy so able to pick where we wanted to sit. Ordered drinks and apps which came in a timely manner. Bang bang shrimp delicious. Everyone enjoyed their mains and a good size. We were there for a birthday meal and shared a complimentary desert

                                                                                        Our server was a delight! Her service was friendly and efficient. The Bang Bang shrimp was quite tasty. My husband had the chicken club which was more of a chicken burger with a small portion of fries. The miso blackened cod was an extremely small piece of fish with a small dollop of rice with a large portion of underwhelming wilted salad at an out of proportion price. While the wait staff were all helpful and friendly, I don’t see us rushing back here too soon.
