                                                                                            Great place to eat. Friendly tentative staff, good food and atmosphere is energetic but not too loud. There were four of us for dinner and three out of four ordered steak. Now this is not a steak house but we expect certain standards. One of our steaks was mostly gristle and the entre this was for did not say how bad his steak was till we were all mostly done. He still had 3/4 of his steak uneaten. Once I asked how it was he explained it was almost impossible to chew. Our waiter was very apologetic and offered to get him a new one. We were well past wanted to wait for another so he ate what he could and they took our entre off the bill. Very appreciative and understanding. Thank you to our waiter and we will certainly be back. Don't want to discourage anyone and this can happen at any restaurant.

                                                                                            I love State & Main usually - this locatino's service was great but slow. I had to consistently look for the server to order, get the bill, etc. Chicken Enchillada wasn't good as other location. Overall, it was good but not good service and food compared to other locations that I've been to.

                                                                                            Have been to this location a few times, and it’s always a nice time. Most recently, attended with a few girlfriends on a Friday night, service was good and attentive, but our server also allowed us our space to chat and catch-up without pestering which is appreciated. With that, while he checked in a ton on whether we wanted more cocktails, he never came around to refill waters. For food, I ordered the French Dip sandwhich with fries - the fries and dill dip are outstanding, every time! - the sandwich was just okay, a little disappointing, seemed a little stale / dry, and just not as fresh and tender as I’ve had before at other locations. My friends had the fish tacos and the Cajun chicken, which they said were good! The atmosphere is nice, typical lounge setting, with dim lighting and nice background music without being too loud. I was surprised it wasn’t super busy for a Friday night but overall it was a nice time!
