It was definitely my first time at this location that I was disappointed by the service. We ordered a bottle of wine and we still had half of it and the waitress never offered a bag to put it in so we don’t carry it outside without a bag. Also my husband wanted another drink and she never came back to ask. We were there one hour and a half and gave her 18% which meant 25$ tip. Come to think of it, it was way too much for the service she offered. Very disappointed

                                                                                            State & Main in Gloucester is my go-to spot for a delightful dining experience. The atmosphere is perfect for catching up with a friend or enjoying a date night. The service has always been wonderful, with attentive and friendly staff. The Pink State Mint cocktail is a standout, blending gin, St. Germain elderflower liqueur, dragon fruit, cucumber, lime, mint, and soda, a refreshing and flavorful choice. I consistently order the Pistachio Crusted Salmon; it’s always cooked to perfection, with a delicious maple butter drizzle. The Baja Brussels Sprouts appetizer is also a must-try, craveable and full of flavor. Overall, State & Main offers a consistently amazing dining experience that keeps me coming back.

                                                                                            I went twice and both time during autumn/winter. It's hot in there!! Food is good but Happy Hour isn't worth it. We went early yesterday to enjoy happy hour and there's mostly $1-2 off regular price except for 2 dish that it's $3-4. I still recommend but if you don't like spicy, don't take the steak and sushi !!!

                                                                                            I was Superbowl Sunday 6:30 and the place was very quiet. We were seated and waited at least 10-15 minutes before being acknowledged. We got our drinks and food very fast. My husband order the French dip and I ordered the bison burger with Caesar salad. I got charged $1.50 for substituting for the salad which is fine, but that was the most basic and bland Caesar salad. The server never came back to ask how our food was or if we wanted something else to drink. Only came to ask if we wanted desert and we said no. Total was $80 with the tip which is grossly exaggerated given the quality and serving size of the food. I purposely left a 10% tip because we basically had no service. Will not go back.

                                                                                            Bang Bang Shrimp, Royal Bangkok bowls and chicken tenders were all excellent. The only thing I would change is to serve drinks in glasses, not jars.
