Welcome to State & Main Gloucester. We serve elevated comfort food and cocktails, providing a vibrant downtown atmosphere in your neighbourhood restaurant & bar. Our location is only a few minutes away from Highway 174. We're located in the northeastern suburbs of Ottawa, bringing downtown vibes to you. You can treat yourself to dinner with us and a movie at the nearby Scotiabank Theatre if you're craving a date night. You can run errands in the area around us or visit Hornets Nest Soccer Park before joining us for Happy Hour on our dog-friendly patio.                                                                                               Went here for my wife’s birthday, I made a reservation and said it was her birthday and to do all that cake and jazz thing places do for birthdays. I’ll 100% say that wasn’t looked at what so ever. We had to tell the waitress about her birthday. I wanted it to be a surprise sucks that it wasn’t. Made a drink order right away, the server forgot 2 waters. We order 4 waters, 1 pop and a coffee. Waited close to 20 minutes for 2 waters a pop and a warm not even a hot coffee. Then waited another 10 min for 2 more waters. Food was okay. Had to ask to refills on things and aging that took 15 min and we had to track down the server. Checked up on us once. Even though they passed us multiple times. It wasn’t even that busy. Second time coming here and the same issue as the first time. The first time the food and drinks took very long to come we waited over a hr and it wasn’t even that busy last time this time was more busy but honestly wasn’t at the same time. Anyways I don’t think I’ll be returning to this location or restraunt chain again

The food was running a bit late so near end of meal we were offered free dessert. Most of food was very good but I had the 6oz sirloin and it was cooked as preferred but was very tough and fatty.

                                                                                              Hands down our favourite restaurant experience in the area. The food and service never disappoints. We try to select a time to go when the noise level is not too bad. But it can be quite intense at peak periods.

                                                                                              Was not removed my CAA discount then they were to give back the money but instead charged me again. I live in Quebec and now I have to go back to the restaurant to get my money back because when I called they said nothing can be done. Very very disappointed

                                                                                              Absolutely amazing experience at State + Main ... our server was extremely pleasant and helpful in answering any questions and offering suggestions when asked. She was one of those people that asked how things were going and you could tell that she actually cared! The fantastic experience continued when the food arrived. Everything we ordered was amazing and dishes were passed between the 2 of us so that we could try everything ordered. Will definitely be back!!!
