State and Main in Etobicoke had great customer service when my husband and I had a dinner there. Loved the food and drinks we ordered! The service was quick. Will definitely come back again.

Dear State & Main - Etobicoke Team, I hope you’re doing well. I had the pleasure of dining at your Etobicoke location on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 7:30 pm. As a Vietnamese-born Canadian currently living in Mississauga, I truly enjoyed my experience at your restaurant. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. My server, a female bartender, provided excellent service, ensuring my dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. The Bacon Tomato Soup was rich and creamy, with a perfect balance of flavours. The mozza and parmesan garlic crostinis were a great complement, adding a delicious crunch to the dish. For the Steak & Bourbon Event, I ordered the Steak & Sushi, which was outstanding. The 6oz sirloin, marinated in sesame ginger soy sauce, was cooked to perfection—tender and full of flavour. The spicy sashimi tuna on pressed crispy rice was a delightful addition, offering a fresh and bold contrast to the steak. To finish, I had a coffee with cream, which was a great way to round out the meal. As a bonus, I got to watch the Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Montreal Canadiens game on TV while dining. Even though the Habs started strong with three early goals, it was exciting to see the Leafs turn the game around with seven goals to secure the win. It made for a lively and enjoyable evening! Hostess was awful and not willing to offer a change of table in a virtually empty restaurant. Subsequently frlt sorry for our server, who was clearly embarassed by the situation. Food was less than mediocre. Can unequivocally say that it’s the last time we’ll visit. Definitely NOT recommended.

Our plates were amazing! Great taste and very filling!! Steak was cooked to perfection! (The Empire State) My Wife had The Nashville Hot Crispy Chicken burger. It had just the right amount of kick. Overall, a very solid Steak restaurant!

We always enjoy pur meals at this State & Main. We have been to ones in different locations and this is our favourite location. The staff there are always great to deal with.

Reserved for a group of seven, table was ready on arrival, however our waitress was never available. We had to ask for our order to be taken after waiting 45 minutes, also had to ask for the table to be cleared before they brought our dessert. All seven of us agreed the service was the worst we’d experience this entire year. Food was below average. Will never come back again.

Greeted by Megan with a big smile and escorted to table promptly. Server Victoria was excellent great personality and very attentive. Food was served on time and timely manner.
