From the moment we walked in, the staff seemed indifferent and uninterested. We were barely acknowledged and had to wait an unreasonably long time just to be seated, despite the restaurant not being busy. Also, got in trouble from the hostess because our party went from 4 people to 6 people (all we did was add 2 children) Shame, shame… double shame! Once seated, it took forever for someone to take our order, and when they finally did, they seemed rushed and impatient. The restaurant was extremely cold- don’t forget your winter parka! There was no effort to make things right, just excuses and a complete lack of understanding. It’s one thing for a restaurant to have an off night, but customer service should never be an afterthought. Unfortunately, State & Main- Aurora continues to make it clear that they don’t prioritize their guests’ experience. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming dining experience.

We always enjoy this location. Tonight, it seemed like the air conditioning was on and everyone including the servers were very cold. I personally, along with my party, wore our coats all through dinner. This was very disappointing…

What a wonderful experience we had at State & Main we had when went to dinner. My daughter is anaphylactic to all nuts, peanuts and legumes. The majority of food was not safe. We spoke to the Manager Eric and he was able to check ingredients listing and speak with Chef to see how they could modify appetizer and dinner for her, ensuring safety. Huge thanks to Eric, his kitchen staff, the Chef in the kitchen and a special shout out to Jess our server for being so kind and patient while we navigated through the menu.

Came in for post Valentines day celebration on their last day of their Valentine’s Day menu which was delicious! They were busy but they manage to get our orders in! Everything was great!

Food was amazing. We had the Valentine's dinner special for two (4 services). The 4 services were excellent, especially the enormous dessert to share.

The restaurant didn't receive the booking at 9. We're lucky we only had to wait 15 minutes for a table, but apparently the staff mentioned it glitches often. Needs to be fixed...
