Welcome to State & Main Aurora. We serve elevated comfort food and cocktails, providing a vibrant downtown atmosphere in your neighbourhood restaurant & bar. Our location at the corner of Murray and Yonge St. is close to shopping malls and amenities, so you can run errands before joining us for a tasty meal. Have a seat on our dog-friendly patio and kick back with a refreshing drink-you deserve it! Food was very good and ingredients were so fresh! It was fairly quiet as we went on a Tuesday evening. Service was good as well. Would definitely go back to try the other items on the menu.

I had an amazing working lunch because my server Jordan was very attentive. The entire staff were great. I enjoyed the happy hour deal . I was able to take home the Chicken Thai salad for my husband.

It took 10 minutes to get our drink and starter ordered. At least the drink was good. The calamari was not, but it was warm and rubbery. We waited 55 minutes before our main course order was taken. We both ordered the signature Empire steak; the plates were cold, the steak, mashed potatoes and asparagus was lukewarm, steak was under cooked, asparagus needed a steak knife and no one came to check on the order for 40 minutes, by which time we had agreed we would not return again. Steak and Main used to be our favourite restaurant in Aurora, so it was really painful to see it fail so badly.

There was no-one at the front desk to greet us. We finally found our own table. The waitress, Emily, was excellent as was the food.

Took a while to get served. My son’s stake was such a poor cut he had to abandon it as it was gristly and so fatty. The Gin and Tonic was so flat.

We had such a lovely dinner. We went for our anniversary, and it was wonderful. The Brussels sprouts are to die for. The dragon lettuce wraps are flavourful and filling, and the cocktail menu is creative and super reasonably priced. Our server was so kind and able to offer valuable suggestions and information about the dishes. So great, would definitely return.
