Star Rover Sound is throwing it back to the great American steakhouse, an institution that transcends time and trend. Steak Dinners at Star Rover will offer the complete experience – cut in-house steaks paired with crisp salads and crisper cocktails, bottomless triple-cooked fries and onion rings, fresh-baked dinner rolls, live music, and good times.

Just like the 1970s West Texas steakhouses that Chef/Owner Ford Fry so fondly remembers, guests will be reintroduced to an era when steak dinners weren’t just for special occasions but were an everyday luxury – complete with checkered tablecloths, a candlelit glow, and Sharpies for signing the walls.

First time there. The service was very good and attentive. The drinks were nice lots of bourbons to choose from. We had a T-bone it was cooked perfectly to our order. The rolls were super salad great. Fries a little greasy but crisp. Overall cost was very reasonable I will be back. Wish music came on earlier.

Great food! Amazing rolls. Awesome value for a steak in Nashville! Wouldn’t recommend the vanilla ice cream/soft serve dessert, but otherwise awesome!

OMG. Excellent food and service. The ribeye steak and the sides were amazing. We highly recommend hands down.

No starter options. Only one small paper basket with onion rings over the top of a fried potatoes for three people. We requested more never got any. We requested another round of Brinks that never came. We requested bread was never brought.

Best steak in Nashville!! The vibe is super cool without being pretentious and the food is great. Love the old school aesthetic! Service was top notch and the steak was cooked perfectly!!

Great experience! We really enjoyed everything. Service was excellent and the food was excellent. I could eat that bread everyday! The steaks were perfectly cooked and so flavourful. Best apple pie I’ve had maybe ever. Good value and wonderful service.
