Star Noodle, located on the ocean in Lahaina, Hawaii, serves a variety of Asian specialty dishes using unique and familiar ingredients and our handmade noodles. The restaurant offers takeout services and catering for offsite events if needed.

The only reason didn’t give it 5 stars across the board was because for both the ramen and udon we ordered, the broth was just barely warm enough. If it had been hot, would have been perfect. The noodles were fantastic in texture and broth flavor was great.

One word is all you need... scrumptious! Vietnamese crepe is tasty, fun and worth the mess.Hapa ramen and garlic noodles with crispy pork belly will have me coming back, again and again.

I made the reservation a month ago. I requested ocean view seating. I also noted we were celebrating my husbands 60th birthday. We did not get ocean view seating. One of us had our back to the ocean. They sat us next to where the serves bring out the food. Constant back and forth. And there was no mention of his birthday. The wait staff was pleasant but not overly friendly. When I asked about ocean view I was told “well when we are busy we do the best we can”. I guess there best was to sit us next to the kitchen.

Food was pretty good. Lighting way too bright- sterile feeling. Drink prices too high- new high on beer in particular. Was excited to try new location. One & done

We were under impressed with the quality of food on this visit. The braised short ribs arrived room temperature and all portions were small. We ordered 8 different dishes for a family of 4, including 4 drinks. There was not one memorable dish.

Dinner was disappointing-we've been there several times over the years and it clearly seems like it's dropped off. The food was average at best. The bacon and egg was greasy, and the crab dim sum was bland. The Singapore noodles were very dry. It's too bad because the dining room itself was very nice.

Amazing all around! Service and food were awesome. The view is amazing especially for sunset.

Food as always was good. It seems though that they changed the way they cooked the adobo ribs. They were better before in my opinion, crispier and drier. They were saucier and much smaller in size compared to previous.

Star Noodle is our “must visit” restaurant when we come to Maui! Excellent food and service, and steps from the ocean. We had three reservations during our two week trip and could have easily doubled that. Enjoy!

Wonderful service and the food was excellent as it always has been. Loved the Singapore noodles, miso butterfish, chicken wings, and steamed pork buns.
