easy to choose as the menu is not large, portions just right for us, no wastage which was good.

Really good food! Even the peas on my Gammon & Eggs felt special. Mad Goose, Jail Ale and Doom Bar ales (yes tested all 3) were kept well. Nicely warm atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff backed up by a live band outside. What more could you want on a Friday night Highly recommend visiting or re-visiting (my 2nd visit within a week)

First time at The Star. Was really impressed with the quality and presentation of the meals. Reasonably priced also. There are also a good amount of parking spaces on site.

One of the friendliest pubs we've visited. Faultless in every way and made to feel as welcome as if it was my local by both the staff and the regular drinkers. We travelled 30 miles eat and drink here and not for the first time either.

Tasty sunday lunch. Vegetables a bit boring (peas, carrots,brocali and parsnip) Gravy the best.

We celebrated my sisters 70th Birthday and it was so nice they put up banners and put decoration and a birthday card on table for when we arrived. The food as usual was very good as was the service.
