Had the Sunday roast. Very generous, great selection of veg. Lovely meal. Always a welcoming pub.

Lovely atmosphere, good pub grub food at a very reasonable price. A little noisy as football was being shown and people were playing darts, but this is a relatively small pub and it’s important to attract locals - it’s a pub so to expect it to be as quiet as a restaurant would be unreasonable. Everyone very friendly. Definitely we’ll go again

Enjoyed a lovely meal this evening. The food was amazing and it was hot which is a big plus for me. I can not stand luke warm food. Service was great. It was my husbands birthday and they had put up a banner and left a birthday card on the table, lovely touch. Definitely recommend.

Second time at The Star this month. Food is freshly cooked and delicious. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Great value for money.
