The shrimp in the shrimp curry dish was not fresh - being a shrimp and seafood connoisseur, the shrimp should have a rather firm texture when biting into it. This shrimp was way too soft, indicative of not being fresh. We had informed the head waiter, who responded by removing the item from the check as a courtesy, though we told him that we were not looking for him to do something like that. But we appreciate the attentiveness to customers.

The food was very good, soft shell crab curry - excellent. Suggest two can share, a big portioned dish.

Star Lead is my new favorite restaurant - an exceptional experience from start to finish! The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and informative host who provided a personal touch to our welcome. The bar staff truly stood out during my visit. Their extensive knowledge of the drink menu was remarkable, and they were more than happy to recommend cocktails that perfectly suited my taste. Their friendly demeanor added to the inviting atmosphere, making it a joy to engage with them. The wait staff was equally commendable. They were incredibly efficient and timely, ensuring that our dining experience flowed seamlessly. My orders were taken promptly, and the food arrived at just the right intervals, allowing me to savor each course without feeling rushed. There was even a magician, VIN CHEE, making the rounds who excelled at receiving oohs and aahs and really enjoyed engaging with the patrons. My daughter was blown away as was I! Star Leaf provides top-notch service, and I highly recommend it to families, friends, couples, and even individuals who sit at the bar. We look forward to our next visit!

The cuisine is incredibly delicious, from starters to dessert. If you go on a busy evening, expect to wait a little longer than you would like to for your order. I think they are still staffing up, which is definitely going to help. A really enjoyable evening.

We had the best experience celebrating my birthday. Cameron, our Server, made our first-time dining experience very memorable. He recommended the right amount of entrees for our table and made suggestions for beverages based on each of our preferences. The food presentation was everything!…beautiful drinks adorned with orchids and picturesque plates. Sooo yummy! I already made reservations to go back this week. This restaurant is loud so do not come expecting a nice quiet or intimate experience. Plenty of street parking and lots nearby.

I’ve been here many times since the grand opening and it’s consistently great on every level. The food, creative cocktails, and service is second to none. We always end up eating more and trying all the flavors on the menu. Shout out to Em the mixologist and Sam the manager for taking good care of us.

Fun place and good food (chicken curry was good but needed just a little bit more to be great) The spring rolls were great and everything about the service and ambience was really fun
