The Star Hotel Yackandandah has been the centrepiece of the local community since 1863. A lot has changed since the Goldrush, but the Star Hotel remains a much-loved meeting place for folks looking to enjoy some time with friends over a few drinks or a delicious meal in the dining room. We love the local community atmosphere that still lives on at the Star Hotel, more than 150 years after its doors were first opened.

Fabulous place for a family get together. Outstanding service and fresh, unique and tasty food. The staff are so accommodating . I can’t speak highly enough of this place!! Go there!!!

Great little country pub. Great service. Food was decent. It was a Tuesday night so very quiet (pizza night Tuesday night too) Definitely will be back.

Had a lovely lunch. Food was good, bar service a little slow because of the crowd. But most enjoyable 👏

The menu has something for everyone. There was probably nothing on there that I wouldn’t have ordered. Decided on the chicken waffles , extra spicy. I’ll be coming back to try everything else and order that dish again. 10/10 taste and presentation. Good prices. All the staff I dealt with were pleasant. Will visit again

Fast efficient and friendly service. Food was great and quite well priced. Everyone loved the bbq meat selections

The loveliest pub. Friendly staff. The platters are delicious & the local brew is great. Also love that they have Yack Creek and Backwoods distilleries products - both just around the corner.
