The magnificent Stamford Park Homestead was built in 1882 by the entrepreneurial Row family as a Gentleman’s Residence. After many years of neglect, the homestead and six acres of grounds have been aesthetically restored, allowing it to once again become the ‘Jewel in Knox City’.

Stamford Parks current custodians, have waved their ‘whimsical’ magic of both design and true hospitality over the beautiful estate and it is now a stunning property serving the public for what it was originally intended – a place to gather, meet, entertain and unwind.

A natural talent from a musical family, Ruby blends mellow jazz, swing, Latin rhythms, and sultry sambas into performances that feel as personal as they are timeless. Lovely location. Great service , food was lovely. Had a live band in the garden setting which was very enjoyable. Guests had a choice of a main meal or have something light. Pizzas were great. We chose this location because it suited an 88-year-olds birthday lunch, much more enjoyable than the local pubs.

Wonderful old building, different rooms have different style of seating/lighting, staff are fantastic and really friendly, food is affordable yet delicious, high quality, different events are held on different nights, lots of jazz, surrounds are lovely. Indoor and outdoor dining.

I had the pleasure of visiting Stamford Park Homestead for the fourth time and I can't speak highly enough of the experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and eager to ensure that everything went smoothly for our group. They went above and beyond in answering all our questions and made every effort to make our interstate and international guests feel welcome. It was a must to ensure that I brought both interstate and international guests there. The food was simply outstanding. Not only was it delicious, but they were also very attentive to individual dietary needs, ensuring that everyone had options that suited them. Whether it was for those with specific food requirements or simply personal preferences, they made sure no one felt left out. The setting is absolutely stunning. The homestead is surrounded by beautiful, lush grounds that offer a peaceful and picturesque backdrop for any occasion. It's the perfect place for a relaxed yet memorable gathering. Overall, the level of service, the quality of food, and the breathtaking surroundings make Stamford Park Homestead a top choice for anyone seeking an exceptional experience. I highly recommend it!

Dining experience was very pleasurable. The food was good and the service was excellent. We didn’t have to wait very long for a drink or food.

Delightful experience! Stamford Park was a beautiful homestead, and a lovely place to go for lunch. Our waitress was attentive & helpful, the food was delicious & delivered quickly. We had plenty of space & the room was quiet despite there being other guests, there were nice views out onto the spacious grounds. It really was delightful! We commented on how lovely the conservatory would be for a wedding reception; or how it would be a great for afternoon tea on the veranda where the children could run around on the lawns. High tea in the near future is definitely calling!

The Stamford Park Homestead is amazing…….. food wonderful……. Unfortunately we arrived in the middle of a ‘tropical’ storm which wasn’t ideal for all. Our preference would be with in the homestead itself rather than the ‘large’ room out the back!
