Part wine bar, part restaurant, a city centre venue with a city centre buzz. St. Vincent is an after-work drinks spot, supper-with-friends place and general 'snack-with-a-glass-or-two' hang out with a big-hearted 'everybody welcome' attitude.

Inspired by the neighbourhood bars we've found on our travels through France and Italy, we offer interesting wines, charcuterie and crowd pleasing plates full of punchy flavours. We're a place where an hour spins into several without anyone noticing.

Open evenings Tuesday to Friday, all day Saturday and close late.

We were shown to our table, which is in a row of 6/7tables that are next to the bar. These particular tables are round and on the small side so when you have water, wine, main plates and side plates on them its rather cramped. Perhaps the management could do something about this? Having said that the food and wine were excellent!!

Impeccable food and service, as always. This is one of my absolute favourites in Newcastle and you simply cannot fault it! Thanks for a lovely afternoon and the little birthday cake!

What a great find. Loved everything about this place, from the quality of the food to the excellence of the wines and friendly warm service. The place was full and buzzing without feeling overcrowded, and despite being a busy Saturday night, we never felt neglected. Will definitely be coming again.

From the moment we stepped into the restaurant the staff couldn’t do enough for us, even escorting an elderly relative to their seat!! Food was superb we had the lamb and the chicken from large plates. We’ll be back

Always a treat. We loved every minute and could have happily eaten everything on the menu. The seafood was excellent. Drink selection was also great. Can't wait to come back.

We’ve been many times and the food is amazing. Unfortunately, the service is much slower than previously, we were a little neglected by staff. The overall experience was still fine as the food is exceptional.
