Part wine bar, part restaurant, a city centre venue with a city centre buzz. St. Vincent is an after-work drinks spot, supper-with-friends place and general 'snack-with-a-glass-or-two' hang out with a big-hearted 'everybody welcome' attitude.

Inspired by the neighbourhood bars we've found on our travels through France and Italy, we offer interesting wines, charcuterie and crowd pleasing plates full of punchy flavours. We're a place where an hour spins into several without anyone noticing.

Open evenings Tuesday to Friday, all day Saturday and close late.

Fabulous, stylish supper. Superb food, great, friendly service. St Vincent always delivers. Can’t recommend the chocolate fondant and pistachio ice cream dessert highly enough. We’ll be back!

Amazing food and service only one comment although it’s minor the table for 2 we had the table itself was quite small so we were struggling for space when the food arrived. We will be back

This is the best place for a special night out. Love the relaxed vibe, fabulous service and the exceptional quality of the delicious food and drinks. It’s not a cheap feed-up, it’s a real treat that’s worth every penny.

Booked for dinner on Friday. A last minute change of plan meant we had to ask if we could bring the time forward. Matt was very helpful and had us sorted and confirmed electronically within minutes. There’s a really good feeling about this place, good atmosphere, stylish without being pretentious and considering that it is busy, very good service, particularly from Anna, with a real smile. There’s a modern style menu allowing you to go for different combinations that suit your appetite. We wanted to go for all fish so scallops, baked crab, hake and monkfish. Now here is a chef who really knows what they are doing! The flavours! Wow! Good portions too. We finished with the chocolate fondant and limoncello sorbet. The wine list is cracking, some excellent choices and prices to suit all budgets. If this place isn’t on your list, it should be!

Gastropub food at Michelin star prices. Tables too close but noise levels high, so whilst you could hear the people to either side, at least you could not understand what they were shouting at each other. Food tasty but limited choices. Drinks very limited snd over-priced. A sad replacement for Terry Laybourne's previous Italian style bistro on this site. As we say in the North-east, he's taking a lend of us here.

Ok so we did book for 7:45pm on a Saturday. It was rammed. So crowded and noisy. Some really raucous guests. I found it hard to converse with my dining partner who was opposite me on a tiny round table. I almost had to shout my order for the staff member to hear and had to get them to repeat themselves. The food was good, unfortunately the ambiance detracted from the dining experience and we were relieved to leave and get some fresh air and enjoy the peace outside. So if you don’t mind dining in absolute chaos I’d recommend the place. Having said that I would consider going again but maybe mid week where we would hopefully be able to hear ourselves think.

Really enjoyed our time here, the service was very good, everyone we spoke to was lovely and attentive! The food was high quality and delicious, would have liked the option to add a sauce to the steak/potatos but was still delicious. Would definitely return it was our first time going and it had a lovely atmosphere
