Part wine bar, part restaurant, a city centre venue with a city centre buzz. St. Vincent is an after-work drinks spot, supper-with-friends place and general 'snack-with-a-glass-or-two' hang out with a big-hearted 'everybody welcome' attitude.

Inspired by the neighbourhood bars we've found on our travels through France and Italy, we offer interesting wines, charcuterie and crowd pleasing plates full of punchy flavours. We're a place where an hour spins into several without anyone noticing.

Open evenings Tuesday to Friday, all day Saturday and close late.

From start to finish the experience was all that. Every mouthful of food, every interaction with staff and the ambience. We were in Newcastle for the Great North Run and stumbled across St Vincent earlier in the day on the Saturday. Could not recommend it enough.

Not a cheap night out but oh my word, food is outstanding. So many delicious choices on the menu it was difficult to choose. Everything we had was so good. Squid dish was innovative and perfectly cooked, amongst the best I’ve ever had. Lamb chops were also amazing. Creative and executed perfectly. Lovely buzzy and busy Saturday night atmosphere and yet service was kept to a high standard. Friendly, courteous and efficient without being in your face. A great night, thank you!

Fabulous experience from start to finish. Helpful friendly staff with good recommendations for food and drinks. Food was so tasty, perfectly seared tuna, fabulous no fish tail. The oysters were so fresh and meaty. All round wonderful dinner.

I chose St Vincent’s to celebrate my birthday with my girlfriends. We have a wide range of dietary requirements within our group, and I wanted to go somewhere that could cater for us all. I was a bit nervous as I hadn’t visited St Vincent’s before but had read so many good reviews, and they didn’t disappoint! We had a great time, and we all had a great selection to chose from, especially my Coeliac and vegetarian friends who usually have little to no choice. Margaritas were spot on too!
