Meal was ruined by constant loud noise from the kitchen. You could hear every effing word. The staff had no self awareness of their voices. The chef talked to waiter for at least 5 minutes with a pile of fish under the lamp between them. Yuk. Constant banter. Food was fine. Would have been nice to have had green veg on the plate but I guess I could have paid extra for that.

The batter on fish and scampi was too thick and both the batter and chips were very oily.We were unable to eat even half the meal.This was mentioned to the waiter who made no apology and we assume he did not report it to the kitchen as no adjustment was made on the bill. The cheesecake was more like a cream. There were no starters,only light meals or mains . Our last meal here some time ago was superb but we were very disappointed and will not visit again.

Lovely dinner experience, really friendly and attentive service. Delicious food and good value. We would definitely come again! Good for dogs.

My lunch booking didn’t happen as it’s shut until the evening. No one from St Tudys or Opentable bothered to tell me, rather it was a matter of turning up to find the place shut. So frustrating and disappointing! Shameful behaviour from both St Tudys and Opentable

The inn was not open despite taking my booking. When we arrived we were told that there was no chef so my booking was a mistake.

The booking had been cancelled due to new ownership which Opentable had not informed us about - waste of time and ruined evening due Open table incompetence- DISGRACE

It was not open for food and has not been for a while but the OpenTable app is taking bookings, so a long journey for nothing. Dissapointed with OpenTable not the establishment!!!

A superb dining experience! Limited menu, but all dishes looked mouth-wateringly tempting. The food was well seasoned & presented beautifully. An excellent wine list and the English sparkling wine was gorgeous. Service was excellent, friendly & not overpowering. Covid wise it all felt very safe. Highly recommend!

Service & ambience excellent but even though we had booked for the Sunday lunch 2 weeks in advance the kitchen ran out of beef. Lovely pork loin offered instead and the meal was delicious but lukewarm with no apple sauce or condiments offered.
