Square Grill House Restaurant & Piano Bar in the heart of Bath.

Open for breakfast, morning coffee, lunch and afternoon drinks. Throughout the day the terrace by Abbey Square and lounge area will be perfect to relax with a drink and nibbles. As the sun sets and we get ready for dinner to serve our signature dishes with the best local produce. Our resident Pianist and DJ will begin, and cocktails will flow.

The restaurant is beautiful with venetian walls, banquettes upholstered in leather and marble feel tables.

On arrival the waitress asked us if we were happy to sit near the pianist - we were very happy to sit there! The restaurant has lovely decor & the service is impeccable. The menu is varied and has enough choices for fussy eaters (like myself)! It is lovely to sit in a restaurant with live music, particularly when it is a pianist. The pianist played a Billy Joel song and as he is one of our favourites we were delighted. In fact another diner requested a Billy Joel song, which we were thrilled by. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Square Grill Brasserie & Piano Bar, and should we visit Bath again in the future will have no hesitation in eating there again.

Quite a nice location, the food was ok, but the cost for lunch was quite high. Overall, the restaurant didn’t seem that clean, the toilets weren’t very nice at all and the absence of any soap topped it off. We felt pretty underwhelmed by the whole experience unfortunately.

An absolutely wonderful experience. The food was really good and the service was excellent. The pianist was fantastic and very entertaining. We loved it!

Slightly disappointed with the quantity and price of the food, small portion and expensive. Carafe of wine good but again, expensive. Service was good, could have been better.

The setting is very accommodating for disabled users. Service is outstanding. Ambiance is good with outside music to listen and watch. Food was average but the price is fantastic. Overall would return.

A really lovely evening staff could not have been more attentive and food was excellent. Live music with piano and singer added to the whole ambiance. A really memorable evening would highly recommend this restaurant
