Second time here. First visit was pure magic - on top of food and drink quality, the sounds were fantastic! Tunes and sound quality, that is. 2nd visit - food still phenomenal. Drinks: out of the only white that isn’t Chardonnay? Not great. Still no NA beer on the menu? Missing an opportunity, folks! But only real static was the DJ. Played nothing but 60s rock straight through for 1.5 hours. Had a 2 minute silence gap while he struggled with his phone for some reason. No big deal in any old bar, but when you’re a listening bar, the “bar” is set a little higher. We’ll be back - just a few places I hope they can improve as time goes by.

I went to Spy Bar for date night, and it was such a blast! The place has a really cool vibe with awesome sound equipment that makes it stand out. The music was amazing, and it feels like a hidden gem in Boston. The cocktails were tasty, and the small plates hit the spot. Plus, everyone was super friendly. Can't wait to go back!

The Spy bar had a great ambiance and music that is curated by musicologists which makes the experience even cooler.

Cocktails are interesting and flavorful. Louder than expected- ambient noise was louder than the music.

Excellent service, creative well-made cocktails and innovative ambiance. The sound level was perfect for enjoying the music but also comfortably talking. Best bar food I've had in a while! This bar could easily be in NYC.

Fantastic ambiance, great music! I am really glad something like this exists in Boston now. Spoke with the Music Manager who was lovely as well as Marco who designs all of the amazing cocktails. It is clear a lot of effort was put into curating this place.

The drinks were very interesting and flavorful. The food were small portions and tasty. The lighting was nice and dim giving a very intimate yet energetic vibe with the music. Overall it’s a nice spot to go to for some drinks, finger food and conversation.

Great atmosphere. Would like to see music changes a bit each night so not same all evening. Would like to see a few more filling food options

Spybar, located in the basement of Revolution Hotel, offers a retro speakeasy experience with a touch of 1970s flair. One of my favorites is the Baklava cocktail, a delicious and innovative drink that captures the essence of this well-thought-out selection. The menu also includes a variety of light bites, all of which complemented the drinks perfectly. The service was also top notch. Will definitely be back!

They are so new so I think they’re just trying to figure out their footing. We were seated for 15 mins before we were waited on. The service was slow. Our table was wobbly so our water spilled on the table and our coaster disintegrated. The drinks were overpriced but good. It was also very loud in there and seating wasn’t very comfortable. Guess we’ll have to check it out when they’re a bit more established
