3 of us went for lunch on Sunday with 2 dogs. All of us were welcomed with a smile. The menus and specials were fantastic. It’s not often I struggle to choose because I want everything on the menu! My friends had a roast beef and a slow roast belly pork and crackling lunches and both proclaimed them the best they’d ever eaten (& as one is in his late 70’s he’s had a lot of roasts!!! ) I had the crab roll with brown crab mayonnaise and it was so much better than I’d even hoped for! The specials with Porthilly oysters and mussels and Dover sole we will go back just to try. Fully recommend the food here!

We were unfortunately given a table next to the door which was cold . The waitress who greeted us at the entrance was not at all friendly no warm smiles so that made the situation worse. The waitress didn’t show us the specials board and when I asked to sample small taste of the wine she did bring out a sample which I tried and passed to my husband before we finished it the glass was quickly removed so we didn’t have time to taste again . We bought the wine and it was disgusting! Had we had more time o would not have got it. I watched one of the other waitresses and her personality with completely different so viberent and happy unlike our miserable lady . Starters were ok but the main chowder was beautiful with lovely bread. Just spoiled by the horrible wine and poor personality from the waitress.

Lovely restaurant. Staff were excellent and the food was great. Nicest restaurant in Charlestown!

I had been recommended to visit Springtide by several locals. I have to say I am so glad I took the recommendation. Went there for lunch one Saturday, really friendly welcome and service throughout. The menu is predominantly fish (with a name like Springtide would you expect anything different), with a good choice of starters and mains and a daily Specials board. The food was well cooked and presented, tasted superb and the portion sizes were generous so good value. I will definitely return when I am next in Cornwall as this is one of the nicer fish restaurants I have eaten in.

Great food and great service also good value overall Was noisy but it was full which is a good sign - will certainly be back

Very nice meal, although baked plaice may have been a little overcooked and dry.staff and restaurant very nice. Evening was a little noisy with the three dogs on the next table barking. Understand why dogs are admitted but owners do need to keep them under control volume wise. Will not stop us from visiting again.
