We had a lovely lunch at Springtide yesterday. The staff were warm and accommodating ensuring we were able to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine and the food was delicious- the seafood chowder was declared superb😋

We ate outside - it was a beautiful evening which helped! My husband had fish and chips which he said was very good and I had the special which was a hake dish which was excellent. But the 'piece de resistance' was the chocolate brownie - the best I have ever tasted!

Whilst the food was good, the service was poor on this occasion. It took 50 minutes for the food to arrive after ordering and, whilst the restaurant was busy, there were guests who arrived later than us, who were served significantly sooner than our table. It was as though we had been forgotten. Then, 25 minutes after asking for the bill, it still hadn't arrived. Again poor service. The general ambience was fine, however, and it was a pleasant occasion with a talk about Charlestown being presented.

Good menu with additional specials. We had the Ndjua chowder which was excellent and hake with chorizo from the specials which was also excellent. Service good too. Highly recommended

We had the most lovely evening - the food was absolutely delicious - best prawn linguine I have ever had and the chowder was really excellent too. There was also a brilliant singer who created a lovely ambiance. Great place 😍 would highly recommend.

The food was delicious and there was a great choice. If you are Vegan please double check when meal arrives as my son was told he had the vegan option but it had cheese on!

We really enjoy our time there. It was busy with a wide range of diners all enjoying themselves. I like the option to eat indoors or outdoor. They had some very nice daily specials and a pretty extensive regular menu. I think their selection of chowders is unusual and very tasty. I think the portions are generous and the drinks available are well chosen. The servers are friendly and attentive. Springtide is a favourite of mine.
