My favourite table was available as requested and a glass Prosecco greeted me as it was my birthday . Able to tweak the menu a little which was a bonus. Service is always pleasant and attentive but not intrusive

It was very busy as the Regatta was on, staff were overwhelmed with walk-ins so drinks were delayed, but all staff were cheerful and happy to help. Catch of the day was amazing as was the fish n chips. Brilliant selection of drinks and the sticky toffee pudding was to die for! Can't wait to go back to Charlestown next year yo eat here again!

Lovely atmosphere, probably better suited to just adults, kids prices were decent though for the amount they are served. Definitely not something we could afford as a treat, more as a one off once a year I'd say. Everything is so expensive now wherever you go, but at least here you know the food is edible.

Found this restaurant after a Trip advisor search to find dog friendly eateries. This restaurant came up as No. 1. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a smile, shown to our seats, given menus and shown the specials board. The ambience within the restaurant felt cosy with subtle background music playing. The food was all superb with attention to detail given to flavour and portion sizes. We did not leave hungry! The costing is more aligned to an up market gastro establishment and I feel reasonable for what is offered. Highly recommend a visit here!!

Really good food - fish and seafood excellent. Friendly, helpful service, slightly overrun at times, but great communication and working hard throughout our visit. The restaurant is in an amazing conversion of what must’ve been an old boat house- which makes the room slightly hot and the acoustics a bit loud. None of this should stop you from going though - great food and service make these niggles easy to ignore.
