   The food was excellent. Well prepared and served promptly and friendly. Noise level was high on a Saturday night with a large group.

   The Spotted Duck is consistently delicious with excellent service. We had several appetizers - soup, salad, and oysters. For dinner - the burger, lamb gnocchi, and duck risotto. Dessert was an amazing lemon curd with berries and a brown butter shortbread cookie.

   We originally discovered Spotted Duck on our 11/2023 trip, and it was by far the highlight of our dining in the area. We were eager to return but couldn't get back before now - so this was the first restaurant I reserved as I did our trip planning! SD more than met our expectations and once again, the meal here was judged #1 by me and Spouse, out of the 8 restaurants we dined at. Love the light-as-air duck liver mousse, and the duck breast entree was divine. Spouse had the rock cod, which was fresh and perfectly cooked. Kudos to Chef/Owner Jerry Regester for a clever re-discovery of an old English recipe for a custard-like creation using Meyer lemons but no need for ruinously expensive eggs! Service is excellent, parking is easy in Pacific Grove - what are you waiting for? GO!

   Absolutely outstanding. They accommodated us being our small dog. The food was incredible. We had the mussels, rock cod and duck. Will definitely be back and will recommend to everyone!

   The food and service was incredible!!!! We had the butterleaf and sweet potato arugula salad. For main course we had steak and Lamb Gnocchi and added the grilled sourdough bread and Brussels sprouts. For desert we did the Afagoto. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant. The waiter was also so pleasant and made great recommendations!!!!!

   Great spot in Pacific Grove. Right on the main street among other restaurants, bars and inns. Menu has options ranging from salads, soups, seafood, pastas / carbs, and proteins. And the dessert menu is top notch. We ordered the duck pate, octopus, mussels, duck breast and pasta special which was a spaghetti bolognese with lobster and scallops. Everything was well made, good size portions, and very delicious. This is a really good neighborhood bistro with top notch service. Must go for any visitors and the locals in PG are very lucky to have the Spotted Duck.

   Excellent food. The steam mussels were outstanding, so tender and the broth was amazing. Our waiter Noah was the bomb, for sure going back and asking for him to serve us.

   Service was great, cute area of town, food was tasty. More of a special events place than regular everyday dining.

    My wife and I went with our friends; we were able to share a couple of appetizers (the octopus and the pate). My wife and I then shared the seared duck breast. Our friends had the polenta and the scallops. Since we all shared a couple of bites, I can say that all dishes were excellent. Our server, Nick, was great; very professional, attentive, and friendly. We will come back!
