Spotos Fish & Oyster in Palm Beach Gardens is as authentic as you can get. With fresh-shucked cold-water oysters that come from Long Island and Cape Cod along with a full menu of seafood delights, there is no reason to go anywhere else in search of a premier oyster bar. Patrons can dine inside or outside, weather permitting, for lunch or dinner.

The main event at Spotos Fish & Oyster is, of course, the oysters on the half shell; menu doesn't disappoint. Enjoy Bluepoint from Long Island, Wellfleet from Cape Cod and a daily featured oyster the chef has selected. Littleneck and Cherrystone clams from Cape Cod are also on the menu. Both oysters and clams are offered raw as well as in many dishes.

    Wonderful first experience at Spotos. The appetizers (tuna poke and beet salad ) were delicious. The salmon was cooked to perfection! The espresso crème brûlée was divine. Will definitely be back again. We loved dining on the patio. Our server was professional and attentive. Thank you !

    We were a group of four and had the corner of the bar. Service was excellent, along with food and ambience. Casual, delicious and enjoyable!

    Spotty service spoiled the excellent food. Options when ordering given to us was limited to what we heard another waiter provide table alongside. Waiter went missing in action - never returned when food was served to find out if we need anything else (eg salt and pepper). Got the drink order wrong, although rectified that.

    This was our first visit to Spotos and the food was as advertised. However, our evening began with our 730pm reservation for an indoor table being delayed by 30-40 minutes and then being offered an outdoor table albeit with a heater nearby. About 15 minutes later we were able to dine outside with some heat. The appetizers of tuna with crispy rice and the ribs were terrific, especially the ribs. Their food dishes paired with pasta was well prepared and very flavorful as well. Service at both the bar and at the table was professional and welcoming. Hopefully we can give Spotos a “5” on our next visit.

    Great food. Average/acceptable service. Extremely noisy with inappropriate music being played way too loud. I asked our server if we were the only people that might be thinking the music was not just loud but way too loud. Server said there had been a request to lower the volume. I detected no apparent change. Perhaps more concerning was the genre. Appropriate for happy hour on the patio. Inappropriate for a fine dining restaurant. Conversation inside beyond the person next to you was virtually impossible. Couple that with a credit card fee of 3%. Less than ideal. We love the food. We’ll return when we can comfortably dine outside and hopefully away from the loud music.

    We enjoyed an early Friday Lunch. Restaurant was not crowded. The service and food were excellent. Our waitress took good care of us. We enjoyed the fresh seafood and would happily return for dinner. Oysters were exceptional. Glad we rediscovered this terrific seafood restaurant.

    We had a wonderful first time brunch experience on New Year’s Day at Spotos! The food was amazing, including a huge variety of options to please everyone! Our server, Chad, was incredibly attentive, checking in on regularly to be sure we had everything we needed. We dined outside and thoroughly enjoyed our experience!!
