Spotlight at The Paramount is a restaurant, bar and art space that delivers diverse entertainment that resonates with people through all forms of art: on stage, on a plate, or on canvas. With a full bar including 12 taps, and now a full-scale menu created by executive chef Matthew Wagner, Spotlight provides a new innovative art center and art experience to nightlife in downtown Huntington. Located beneath the famous music venue, adjacent to the lobby, it is the perfect place to eat, drink and be inspired before and after a show. In addition to showcasing an evolving menu and hosting local and nationally-renowned musicians, the gallery focuses on Experiential Art and will display various exhibits for the public, stimulating innovation and creativity among visitors. By doing this, Spotlight offers a window into the talents and originality of professional and aspiring artists, and adds to the already robust culture of art in the Huntington Community.

Went with friends to get dinner before a concert next door at the paramount. Knowing it was a Saturday, and Halloween, AND a show night, we made reservations in advance. Upon arrival there was no place to check in to get our table. Finally found a security guard and asked where/who we needed to check in for our reservation. He had no idea but went to find someone. I watched as he spoke to two bartenders and a server, all with no clue. Finally we seated ourselves and found menus sitting at an adjacent table. After about 30 minutes someone came to take our order. Another 30 mins, she came back with drinks only, no food. She was also missing several drinks. When asked, she said the bar was backed up, she had no clue about food. A different server finally brought out some of our food, but he said he was only serving so he couldn’t tell us if the rest of the food was coming or not. Finally the waitress came back to see if we wanted anything; we explained we were still waiting on some of the original drinks and food. She had no idea what we were talking about and insisted that everything we ordered had been delivered. We ordered more drinks (yes some to make up for the missing originals) and more food (yes again, some repeats of original orders). Two hours after sitting, we still haven’t received everything we ordered. Now it’s time to go into the show next door. We had to track down our server to get a check and she seemed annoyed when we reminded her that we wouldn’t paying for items we never got. Well no surprise when our $200+ check came out with ONLY the items we got…she never even entered in half of the items we asked for. I know it’s a stressful time for restaurants but if you can’t remember order’s you next write them down. Idk when that requirement for servers turned optional, but it’s helping you do your job. We definitely will not be back for another visit anytime soon, we can easily get better service from literally any other restaurant in Huntington

The waitress was really sweet and the food was amazing! I love how there is a different ambiance every time.

Lobster tacos tasted like cardboard. Musician if you can call him that was horrible. Service sporadic

They didn’t even acknowledge our reservation and we weren’t the only ones. The service was horrible. The noise level - there was a some clown playing depressing music to the level that you couldn’t hear the person sitting next to you. Will never go back.

We arrived at our reservation time. We couldn’t find a hostess. Tracked an employee down who said he would find someone. No one came. Then asked again he pointed at a random table and said take a seat I’ll get you menus and try and find a waitress. We wound up walking out at that point and ate across the street.

Fun ambience but food and cocktails weren't great. I'd recommend this place to grab a beer and check out cool art but not for dinner. Also, highly wasteful.. our meals came in to go containers with plastic silverware, condiment packets and plastic cups.

Bartender was not super friendly or attentive which is disappointing. Had the cauliflower app and it was soggy. Pizza from Ella’s was delicious though.

Rambo Burger was really good and the smashed fries were really good as well! The bathroom is a must see though!.

Our first time here. As I had read in other reviews, there was a solo musician performing (great - support live music!) but at full concert volume. We first sat in the back room, expecting it to be a bit quieter, but to our surprise it was being pumped in there and actually louder. After being seated at one table, we found it oddly too low for the seats and and asked to move to another, which was better but the volume got to us and we asked to be seated outside. Throughout this all the staff was friendly and accommodating. On to the food - really good. A quality burger and salad at fair prices - what more can you ask for? The smashed fries were terrific. Drinks were typically priced for Huntington - which means overpriced. Cocktails were tasty but light on alcohol. I would stick with beer next time. I think the staff was a bit taxed due to it being the first night the Paramount was back in action, but as I said up top, they were friendly and trying their best.

Convienent for the show we were seeing. Staff were efficient and pleasant. Limited choices for food. Great drinks.
