Spork is a seasonally ingredient driven restaurant. Our menus food, beer, wine and cocktails are developed and implemented, first and foremost, by what we are able to source at its peak. As a restaurant that prides itself on scratch preparation, taken to the extreme, we understand how reliant we are on the local farms, butchers, seafood houses and a few select distributors that we partner with to execute our vision. Our team includes a farmer, a published author, a baker, and a sommelier, in addition to the usual array of chefs, bartenders and service staff. To turn out our menus, we have on-premises, programs to: Bake all of our own breads (including in-house grain milling) - Extensively ferment and pickle vegetables - Grow and harvest a large percentage of our produce - Hand craft a full line of pastas - Smoke meats, vegetables - Produce a full range of pastries, ice creams and plated desserts.

My absolute favorite place in Pittsburgh the scallops are the real deal waiters and all around quality of the restaurant is amazing highly recommend

Fantastic place for a date night. Pricey but worth it. The service was top tier. They were aware of food allergies and went above and beyond to accommodate (gluten, shellfish allergy). We had a phenomenal experience and will definitely be back!!

This is a lovely restaurant but the entrees, while tasty enough, were not as great as the price point. Its fun to receive the multiple "amuse bouches" and the drinks and appetizers were expensive but enjoyable. But I would prefer a different variety of entrees. The capon was small, the ravioli's sauce was rich. The dessert list is short. For the cost, I would prefer a view, and more than one fish entree, maybe duck instead of capon, etc, and some noise absorbtion.

The best dinner I’ve ever had! I really appreciated the little tasting that made the experience different and unique. We also loved all the things we ordered. Sometimes you go somewhere fancy and things are hit and miss. These were all wins!

From the minute we were seated our fine dining experience began. Service, cocktails, food were all perfect. Nice to feel so special while enjoying a night out on the town.

Food was spectacular! They were fairly busy so drinks from the bar took longer than expected. For food we did multiple small plates and shared amongst the table. Overall 10/10

Don’t arrive 7 minutes early for a 5pm reservation. Hostess was actually rude and stated “We don’t open until 5.” Not a good start to what we were expecting for fine dining. The chef tasting were a very nice touch, but we felt that they were trying to rush us through the meal. We like restaurants that cater to fine dining and make their guests feel that way. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the food and drink pairings. The food was good, but the halibut and octopus were over cooked. Overall, I’d try this restaurant again, but would opt for a later seating.
