Spoon & Spindle is located in historic Orange, Virginia in a nearly 100 year old silk mill. Spearheaded by Chef Zachary Andrews, Spoon & Spindle serves seasonal menus for brunch, lunch, & dinner as well as ever-updating craft cocktails, local wines, and unique beers. Our current menu includes fan favorites like the Cochon de Bon, a French Creole inspired dish. Our current Chef's Specials also include Steak Frites, Étouffée, Crawfish Fried Rice, and much more. Our popular brunch menu includes favorites like the Hangover Hash, Ham Benedict, Breakfast Fried Rice, Chicken & Waffles, and much, much more. Our unique menu, intimate dining room, and uber friendly staff keep our regulars coming back to see what we have on special each day.

First timers … loved the place! Food was phenomenal. Wife & friend said the drinks were “potent” and tasty. Very cozy atmosphere and low-key casual vibe. Most definitely will return.

This was our first visit to Spoon & Spindle, but I guarantee this will not be our last! Everyone we met, including other customers, were as nice as one could hope for! The food was fabulous and very economically priced (think five-star food for two-star prices). It took us quite a while to decide what to get, it ALL looked so good; our server was very helpful with recommendations when we got stuck. :) We started with cocktails and had the Bonsai Brussel Sprouts as a starter - don't be fooled by the name, they were off the hook good! We both ordered from the specials menu, had a great sparkling peach wine (it was New Year's Eve), and split two desserts (couldn't make up our mind!). You can NOT go wrong going here for any special occasion, celebration, or just dinner. And I hear Brunch is EVEN BETTER! Thank you everyone!

What a wonderful restaurant. If I lived in town, this would be a once a week (minimum) restaurant. My family came into town for a few nights at the WGI to ring in the new year. This is by far the best restaurant in town. The team was polite, professional, and family oriented ….you won’t find a Michelin crew but you’ll find high quality food and a willingness to cater to your every need. If you are in town, dismiss the rest…stop by and support a local establishment! We will be back soon! (Restaurants that S&S outperformed during our stay… inn at willow grove (NYE dinner, breakfast, lunch. 1779 at The Clifton, Fork on Main, Orange Diner, Palladio Restaurant). It’s important to note that the restaurants listed had certain elements that stood out, but when grading restaurants on a scale of service, quality of food, ambiance, and price…Spoon & Spindle stood out. Our dining experiences ranged from $140 to $800 per outing. Thank you! (This is an unsolicited review from out of towners). Zach

I went here for my birthday brunch. The food was amazing. It wasn't busy at all so very quiet atmosphere and the staff was so courteous. Even took a few group pictures for us!

My wife and I both had fabulous meals. The Steak and eggs were amazing. Steak was tender and cooked to my specifications. My wife’s grits and biscuits were good Our waitress had a beautiful smile and was attentive to our needs

Consistently a great meal and good service. I could have ordered one of everything from the menu, nothing on there that didn't sound fantastic.

This was our first visit and we will definitely be back. Nice variety on the brunch menu. I had the crabcake slider special and my husband had the meat scrambler. The mini crabcakes were filled with lump crab meat with light filler and were topped with crisp coleslaw. Our friend raved about the shrimp and grits. We shared a slice of praline cheesecake that was firm yet creamy.
