Splendido at the Chateau offers wonderful Rocky Mountain dining featuring hearty yet refined American-European cuisine. In summer, enjoy a cocktail or dine outdoors on our flower filled deck and enjoy great views of Beaver Creek Mountain. As the sun sets and the mountain chill sets in, retreat indoors and get cozy next to our lovely, double-sided, wood burning fireplace. Splendido offers entertainment by Peter Vavra, Kathy Morrow and Micky Poage in the piano bar.

Perhaps my favorite restaurant in the Vail Valley only reason I marked it down because it is expensive but well worth the price highly recommend this restaurant just don’t be too many people since I love to be there

Dover Sole was excellent as the pork chop and filet… we were a table of 5; so you should offer after dinner chocolates for 5, not 4… we’ll be back for new years

Splendido is easily the best restaurant around Vail and Beaver Creek. As soon as you drive in, you can tell the difference between anywhere else in the area. Food is on a different level, service is refreshingly attentive, and just go here for the vibe, summer or winter.

From the moment we entered and were greeted by our name, until the moment we left our experience was excellent. The waitress Laurie was outstanding. She was friendly, interested and attentive without being overbearing. She was happy to explain the food choices and make recommendations. The crudo appetizer was outstanding and very flavorful. The main courses were perfectly prepared and delicious. Not too much food but quality and flavors and careful composition. Just perfect. The dessert was the chocolate flambée which was presented with sparklers in honor of my fiancées birthday. Overall the experience was memorable and the food delicious.

There was a table of 10 that were the loudest people we have ever heard My husband and I could not even have a conversation - every one who left the restaurant shook their head at the annoying table The management should have bought us a drink or dessert considering entrees were $50 and up..we miss the piano player they used to have .. it was such a nice added touch - especially on a Saturday night

We did not have a good experience last night because both a manager and a table of 8 were talking in the dining room very loudly. We went early to enjoy a quiet evening. At first a manager was visiting with a table nearby and was speaking so loud we could hear everything. Then a table of 8 sat next to us and a couple of the men were almost shouting. We even heard foul language. Not an enjoyable environment. The table next to us left before even placing their order. Our waiter apologized and took 2 glasses of wine off our bill. But management never spoke to us. The food (lamb chops and steak) were good but not for the price. ($85 for lamb chops). The appetizer was terrific. The waiter was nice but service was a bit slow and not very attentive. The table of 8 was pouring their own wine and asking for a wind opener…… Splendido has always been a bit expensive but with that we always hope for a nice experience and we did not get one this time.

Great overall experience from greeting on arrival to staff thanking you when you left. The cocktails are well done. Food among the best in the Vail valley. Very innovative food presentation. Desserts wonderful. Highly recommend nice evening at this restaurant.
