Parking spaces at a premium, arrived at time football was being screened, had to park 5minute walk away in someone else's car park. Prices reasonable, but roast potatoes were too well done. Slow service although waitress very pleasant. Would not return

Unfortunately we were sat next to the gents toilets, which smelt horrible and very off putting. Roast potatoes were very hard, not cooked for long enough, meat was very tuff only 3 puddings l available, considering it was a bank holiday weekend. Felt like we couldn’t approach staff as they was rushed off the feet.

The food was average but took a turn for the worse when I found a sharp piece of plastic in my roast dinner which I cut my tongue on! The waitress offered to comp my meal but eventually, after speaking to her manager gave us our meal for free (but only after I requested it!)

Went with family on 20 August. Although busy, service was very good and food came out hot. 3 of us had one of the specials from the board, which were very different! We also had a burger meal, chicken platter and beef roast dinner. All were lovely. Staff were lovely.

Recommend the spice ship for the best mixed grill I've ever had & I'm from yorkshire, great pub & absolutely brilliant pub grub will definitely being eating there next year

First time dining here and not very impressed. Service was slow and we ended up clearing our own table as the staff just seemed to ignore us . We didn’t even get offered a dessert menu we had to go and ask for it. My wife ordered steak and ale pie as her main course and frankly we could have got a better pie from the chip shop next door.

We went for family meal for my husbands birthday. Food was amazing, hot and cooked beautifully. Atmosphere was lovely and service was pleasant. Wre all had wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the food!
