Located in the city of Hamburg, Opitz Restaurant is an attractive dining option for locals and tourists alike. Situated in a prime location close to the Ernst German Theatre and the Mundsburger dam, Opitz has made a name for itself thanks to its diverse menu and excellent service. It is a fantastic place and a must when in Hamburg. You just have to get used to the big portions and that one of the waitresses is grumpy (must be part of the image) If you are afraid of oily food then avoid the schnitzel as the chef loves to make them like French fries and not the good old traditional way with lots of butter. .

Das Essen lohnt sich. Jedoch muss ich bemängeln, dass auf die Texte bei der Reservierung nicht eingegangen wird. Ich hätte mir ein wenig Deko oder ähnliches gewünscht, wenn man schreibt. Das man einen Tag vorher geheiratet hat. Aber Essen und Service lohnen sich in diesem Restaurant. Und der Preis ist für das was man bekommt, ist vollkommen in Ordnung.

Die Speisewirtschaft OPITZ ist nun schon 30 Jahre am Mundsburger Damm, authentische Einrichtung mit leckerer deutscher Küche und Hamburger Klassikern. Heute hatten wir den Krabbenteller mit Spiegeleiern auf Schwarzbrot und den Heringsteller mit einem Bismarckfilet, gebratenen Hering in sauer eingelegt, Matjesfilet Hausfrauenart, eine Portion Nordseekrabben und Bratkartoffeln. Ein äußerst freundliches und aufmerksames Serviceteam. Sehr zu empfehlen, Reservierung angebracht.

Immer wieder gerne, wenn man gute Hausmannskost und Hamburger Herzlichkeit mag. Wir hatten Pannfisch und Scholle und wurden nicht enttäuscht
