This was by far one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had in recent memory. We waited to try them as we know the beginnings of most places are rough. First off, the server was just not good. Long periods of time went by without seeing him, as we were 1 of only four tables, it wasn’t because he was busy. He didn’t check in on courses, I was forced to get my own silverware from another table for the entree course.. as a whole it didn’t go well. The food was equally disappointing. The steak tartar had virtually no flavor and was cut way too big. The French onion was ok but we’ve certainly had better. Table side Caesar salad was very good! My wife’s filet was terribly thin and overcooked. While my ribeye was cooked nicely. The mashed potatoes had a wallpaper paste consistency and the potatoes au gratin sauce was thin and flavorless. The manager didn’t stop over to check on dinner and our server made it back finally in time for us to call it a night. Couldn’t possibly wait to have another filet cooked. Dinner took 2.5 hrs.. which again being they weren’t busy was way too long. They did a nice job transforming the interior and I liked their wine glasses. I can honestly say that we wouldn’t return.. the quality and execution of the food isn’t there and service was about as bad as it gets.

My wife and I went out with some good friends. Everyone ordered a different dish and it all looked great. The steak was cooked perfectly. The table side Caesar salad was a nice touch. Service was outstanding. Will definitely return.

We enjoyed our time here. We liked the atmosphere and overall vibe. The steaks were cooked to perfection. We loved our waitress, Amy. She was awesome and so nice! We will be back!

Food was excellent and service outstanding. Loved the interior design and atmosphere. Even the grandkids loved the food. Will be back to check out the bar next time!

We had a great experience. Steaks were cooked very nicely and the side dishes were high quality and a good size for sharing. The chocolate mousse for dessert was delicious. Our server was very attentive and we will plan to return.

Had really high hopes for this new restaurant but unfortunately was disappointment from the start. On the plus side I will say they did a great job with decor. Unfortunately drinks were lackluster and my royal cosmopolitan was difficult to drink. Had made reservations for our anniversary the week before so expected a romantic corner somewhere but instead got first table front and center to the walkway. We asked to be moved but they refused and said there was nothing available. Not a “let me go check”, it was an outright “NO”. The silly part is there was a table for two just a few tables down on one of the walls that was empty the whole time. So on to dinner. We ordered appetizers (steak crostini and foie gras) both very expensive and mediocre. Dinner was rack of lamb and scallops which were very disappointing, under seasoned and also expensive. Don’t know which was worse, blue lamb with cold couscous salad or only 4 small scallops for dinner. All in all it was a disappointing experience. I will say also waitstaff seemed a bit unprofessional and untrained. It’s really too bad because we need some good new restaurants.

Excellent food and A. J., our waiter was excellent… liked the ambience and layout of the restaurant…all in all a very enjoyable experience.

The filet appetizer was cold and undercooked. The drinks took a while and were watered down. Lamb was not great. Ribeye was under cooked but ok. Shrimp and scallops were good.

Absolutely terrible. Ordered shrimp cocktail and the three shrimp were dripping wet, smelled terrible and slimey. The Filet was cold, no flavor. The peppercorn sauce was cold and absolutely no flavor. I hope it gets better as it is a lovely restaurant. The North hills needs more good restaurants. As it stands right now this restaurant cannot compete with what is in the area or the big steakhouses in the city. I may give it a try on a few months. Not likely to go back anytime soon.
