Located in Addison, Texas, Spatch Kitchen & Cocktails is a purveyor of seasonal American cuisine & hand crafted cocktails.
A refined yet comfortable spot serving American food with a Southern touch. Between its dining room and airy patio, the 5,000-square-foot restaurant seats 150 people. The full bar will pour craft beers, wines by the bottle and the glass, and fresh-made cocktails, like the Sazerac, Ginger Bird and classic Martini service. The kitchen will cook up dinner, lunch and brunch items that are sure to be instant hits. Brunch will be served Saturdays and Sundays, with popular items including a French Toast, Crab Omelet and Soufflé Pancakes, plus salads and sandwiches. The dinner menu features starters like Old Fashioned Cornbread and Deviled Egg Spread, and entrees like Half Bird (fried), plus Blackened Redfish, Shrimp and Grits, and a Dry-Aged Pork Chop.

Made a reservation for Sat 5/21; drove from Sunnyvale only to arrive and find a note on the door that they were closed for maintenance issues. From reading the month old reviews, the maintenance is ongoing.

Made a reservation through Open Table several days in advance, received a confirmation email the day before and then arrived at the restaurant only to find a sign on the door that it was “closed for maintenance” and no one was there. If they were knowingly going to be closed, why continue to allow reservations to be made? And if it was an emergency situation , they should have contacted those that had reservations with an explanation and so that we could make arrangements elsewhere. Poor service and follow up. Was really looking forward to dining here too.

I booked via Open Table the week before for Mother’s Day lunch on 5/8 and had put in a special request. Only by chance did I call on 5/7 to confirm my request and heard the outgoing message say to send an email. And thankfully I did not blow it off, I did send an email which generated an automatic reply saying Spatch was closed due to a flood in the kitchen and wouldn’t reopen until end of May! Left my family of 10 (we had 2 tables of 5) to scramble to find another restaurant on the morning of Mother’s Day. This could have been prevented if Spatch had been proactive by not being available on Open Table and having this on their outgoing message when you call. No apology so far - very disappointed and will not be going there ever.

Neither Open Table or Spatch contacted us to cancel the reservation for Mother’s Day. When we arrived they were closed with a sign on the door that said closed for maintenance. I am guessing that they are going out of business. Shame on Open Table and Spatch for not notifying me before I drove up their for Mother’s Day Brunch! We will not be going back, if they do re open!

This place is closed for construction which really screwed us because it was Mother’s Day and every other restaurant was already booked up, and we didn’t find out until we literally got there at the time of our reservation. Apparently it has been closed for 3 weeks according to the business next door.

Made a reservation for Mother's Day. Showed up to the restaurant to find a paper sign taped to the inside of the door saying it was closed due to a maintenance issue. Impossible to find another place to eat on Mother's Day without a reservation. We would have appreciated if they had cancelled the reservation knowing the restaurant was closed, since we provide contact information through Open Table. Very disappointed.
