Food is good ! But the best of the restaurant is the singer ! She is amazing ! You have to listen to her , she make the best complement with the food !

Second time here. Just as great as the first time. They lost power for a few minutes but were very tentative to the guests and soon as it was back up the food was flowing out quickly. They didn’t miss a beat. Even though we had a dedicated server I noticed everyone is checking on us to ensure we were pleased. Even someone from the kitchen came by and introduced themselves after the power came back on. This time we tried new main dishes both were amazing and flavorful. Performer started around 8pm and sang rnb songs with a jazzy flare. Overall great experience.

Arrived on time but had to wait 15 minutes at the bar til seated. It was a Thursday night and jumping. Very attractive mixed crowd. Mixed scene ranging from jacked up with filler gold digger girls, to hip hoppers to 30-50 somethingers. We were seated at a table near the live jazz & R&B band, which was a bit noisy. They were pretty good and so was the sultry singer with her suggestive moves who walks around from table to table at times. When band is on break hip hop music in background (not as loud as band). They start you off with complimentary focaccia bread with a vinegar/oil dipping sauce -bread was eh. We ordered the Sparrow chopped salad and tuna tar tar- both very good. Then had the grilled octopus which was a bit chewy and strong fishy smell. Came with sliced baby potatoes. Would not get again. Then we shared the chicken paillard in a black garlic & caper beurre sauce with roasted potatoes side. Nice. Table nearby was indulging in Mikey’s spicy rigatoni alla vodka and truffle cacio e pepe which looked quite delicious. Overall fun but pricey new Wynwood spot.

This was my first time visiting sparrow. I have to say it is my new favorite place. The atmosphere the music the food were all amazing and the convenience of valet right out front was also a plus. Definitely plan on becoming a frequent customer. So many menu options I’m excited to try during each visit.

It was our first time there, the restaurant is beautiful, it has a dark nice vibe that makes you forget you’re in Wynwood. The crowd was very nice and they even had live jazz which was a nice surprise for a Tuesday night. I didn’t understand why they only played hip hop throughout the night when the band wasn’t on and it was also super loud so it was hard to have a conversation because of it, however it was fine, I would just tone it down at least a notch. The service was good but my server was overwhelming, she kept coming over our table every 2 seconds and even interrupted our conversations many times. She had no common sense or courtesy at all. I was on a date so we were trying to enjoy our time there and also enjoy the food, but I felt rushed the whole time. She kept pacing back and forth in front our table and when I asked her if she needed to give the table away (because that’s how it felt) she said no, she just wanted to let us know she was there if we needed anything. Well obviously we would’ve called when we were ready to order our entree, we were just trying to enjoy our appetizers and drinks but she made it seem like we were taking too long to order. I definitely did not appreciate that, I get it that restaurants need to turn over their tables, but there should be a common sense when there is a couple having a good time and trying to extend it to continue enjoying the restaurant, especially if the place is new as this one is. At the end after we paid they suggested we go to the lounge because they needed the table for another reservation, which I totally understood, however I just feel that not everyone goes out just to eat and go home, some of us actually enjoy the whole experience. I am a concierge so part of my reasons to go out is to explore the place so I can recommend it to my clients. The food was great but I would not go back if I had the same server or if I am going to be rushed again.

The food was great, we especially liked the filet. The service was amazing! Everyone so kind and professional. We loved the live music as well. Such a fun date night spot.

Dimly lit ambience. Romance in the air. 90s r&b/hiphop playing soothingly. Unheard of. Hell of an idea. Especially when anything upscale in Miami is known to stay away from all that is urban. Food is PERFECTION. Crafty cocktails SPECIAL. Us young professionals/millennials finally feel seen lol.
