The location restaurant was amazing however the service just did not live up to the environment. When asking a sommelier guidance on a wine, I do not expect him to simply go to the top of the list, especially as we were buying White and Rose. When four of us were eating whilst I understand mistakes can happen, I do not expect to get the order incorrect or to suggest as the food was cooked freshly the starters will come out a different times. That said the food was really great and the restaurant did take into account the challenges and reflected that in the bill. I am sure this was just an off day and I would go back again, however the service really needs to be improved.

We pride ourselves on the honest service we give and want all our guests leaving feeling they are elated by their experience. I'm happy to know that we met the mark on the quality of the food you enjoyed. I understand the confusion with the starter courses as our menu is designed as a sharing concept and we serve these dishes as they are ready for the table to enjoy at their leisure, it's how we operate the two kitchen we have. If this was not fully communicated to you as you started your evening then I am truly sorry as this is a must for all tables. We ate at Sparrow while on vacation in London. It was unfortunately very disappointing. We ordered the artichoke and parmesan salad and it was significantly overdressed, for me it was inedible. The hamachi was good but nothing particularly special. The cacio e pepe was actually an Alfredo it was absolutely drowning in sauce. The bone marrow pasta was delicious albeit an odd dish with very crispy onions and horseradish on it. The caffe chocolate mousse for dessert had a very off putting presentation and tasted just okay, it was more of a pot de crème consistency and very thick. Our waiter was a nice young man who tried very hard and the ambiance was pleasant. In general, this place is overtly pretentious and grossly expensive for how bad much of the food was. Skip it!

Fantastic food, ambience, and service as always! I take friends and clients here, and they are always very impressed. Delicious plates, especially tuna tartare, branzino, chicken paillard, & focaccia. Very nice cosy setting with the trees & mood lighting. Our waiter, Brian, in particular was very attentive & friendly. Highly recommend!

I went there three times. No recognition that I have gone there frequently. Prices are high. For certain types of pasta, they charge the same as chicken. Very small portions of pasta. Chicken was inconsistent. One night, tender; another night cold. Sauce is wonderful on chicken piccata but some nights hardly used; other nights ample. There must be other restaurants that are equal or better without the high prices for pasta. Cacio Pepe is 38 pounds. The bill includes a service charge of 20%.

Such a fantastic experience. We visited London for my daughter’s birthday and went to dinner at Sparrow. We had a drink at the bar beforehand and casually mentioned to the bartender that it was her birthday. The staff went out of their way to make it a special night. I’m definitely coming back.
