D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : After years of fine dining on the Strip, James Beard semifinalist Brian Howard took the party to Chinatown, and opened his own restaurant Sparrow + Wolf in 2017. A globally inspired menu of wood-fired cooking includes dishes like fresh-baked sourdough, hand-rolled pasta, and innovate plates of seafood. With a dramatic black-and-gold space, a monster mural of a wolf, and late night entertainers, it’s just the right amount of Vegas.

    In full transparency, it was not the experience I was hoping for. We waited 45 min from when the res was until we got our cocktails and we had limited time . That said, the staff was more than apologetic and made up for it in dividends. They were very nice and accommodating considering the situation. Food tasted great and cocktails were good. Only the tomato lobster salad was a dud because of the minimal lobster. But they were great people and even though the first time was rocky I will definitely come back!!!

    Hello everyone we were very excited to try Sparrow and Wolf and had heard all the great reviews and were fairly disappointed with the whole experience. Good things we were able to sit 45min before our reservation so that was great, the Old Fashioned was good and so was the sourdough bread the Busser was probably the best front of house staff we had interactions with. Mediocre was the service as the descriptions of the food and drink did not match the actual taste and service was semi-existent( I had to get my own menu for a second round of drinks). The ribeye was very overpriced and not good at all. One side was burnt and the other side wasn’t even seared. (Ordered medium-rare) the beef tar-tar was mid at best. Overall we will never be going back as we could spend our hard earned money on much better establishments. I’m glad I tried it but will not return.

    Best meal I have had in a long time. Love the unapologetic borrowing of flavor profiles from any and all world cuisines in the service of the kind of fusion that the verb was invented for. Unique and inventive craft cocktails a beautifully compiled wine list (with thankfully many more by-the-glass options than I am accustomed to), along with knowledgeable and friendly staff topped off a near-perfect dining experience. Thank you S&W! We had a great time and ate and drank so well last night!

    Great food and reasonable wine list. This is a popular dining venue for locals and enlightened visitors. Make your reservations far enough in advance for an early hour because when this restaurant fills up it will become quite noisy. Despite the noise it is still worth the overall dining experience.
