My wife had the walleye and brined red potatos and I had a fillet with tempura shrimp First the good The Ceasar salads and presentation of each meal was very good. Green beans and the carrot that made it to my plate were cooked perfectly. Good garlic mashed potatos and the two tempura shrimp were crunchy and well seasoned Now the ugly My wifes fish was off (perhaps frozen old)and her potatos were over seasoned with Bay Seasoning - both were inedible My fillet was over smoked and again unable to be finished. Our waitress said that they dont have a smoker leaving me to believe liquid smoke was used. Ughhh More tasting in the kitchen is our recommendation

Lovely little restaurant. We were looking for a romantic and cozy location. We found it her. The service was good but a little dissatisfied with the food. I ordered the walleye it was decent and baked just right. The sides were very small and it hardly looked like anything was on my plate.. mashed potatoes and beans. Husband got the seafood pot and it was mostly broth with some very small mussels. We would be willing to give it another shot.

This restaurant is one on the best in Northern Minnesota. It was great. We had the Thursday date night special. A bottle of wine, shared appetizer, soup or salad, entre, and shared dessert for $50. A great deal. Highly recommended!

I wish the salad given with an entree' were a bit more substantial; really stingy with the greens.

I really wanted to love it this venue but unfortunately it wasn't meant to be this time. They aren't completely hooked up to 'Open Table' yet but they did get us in. To keep it short.. stay away from the Oysters and the portions are tiny. For the two of us our bill with tip was $127... and left hungry. We went across the street and got apps at Green Mill afterward . No worries we know what to expect next time. They really tried but it's severely dated and overpriced.

Very friendly and accommodating. Staff we've never met spoke to us like we were friends, our food came perfectly done and at the right time, I never waited for a a drink and it was busy on Valentines!
