Exquisite eggs! Can't go wrong- with anything. Ham, patatas bravas, gambas al ajillo- oh my! And always an Albarino on the menu. I'm already thinking of my next trip back... Delicious. Service was perfect as well- graceful, timely, attentive, but never overbearing.

I was there at noon on a Monday afternoon. The restaurant was almost empty when I arrived. The staff was kind enough to spread the customers out so that you could hear yourself talk. I appreciated that because so many restaurants are so noisy and hectic that it’s not a relaxing experience. The food was delicious, although the menu was somewhat limited. I was disappointed that you could not order paella at lunchtime. That had been one of my favorite things to order when the Jaleo menu in place.

Spanish Diner is t what it used to be or even close to Jaleo, the former restaurant. I started with the Rosa sangria. It had absolutely no flavor to it and others at my table agreed. I replaced with with another sangria, which was pretty good. We really enjoyed the anchovies with potato chips, dried pork with pimento and patatas bravas. The tortilla de patatas was just not as good as has been in the past. The paella Valenciana had a very unpleasant taste to it. None of the four of us like it. We’ve had the other two paellas , which in the past were very good, but we wanted to try something different.

We ordered chicken paella with artichokes. There was minimal chicken (which was chewy) and 2 artichoke slices. The paella was very bland. Would not go back

Great brunch today at Spanish Diner. We love to support Jose Andre's brilliant restaurants and World Food Kitchen. My Spanish Omelette was excellent. Great service, beautiful space. Sure wish it would be possible to bring back more small tapas under $10 each. We had so much fun sharing 4 or 5 tapas. Having to order only one dish is a bit limiting.

Having lived in Spain and visited yearly for decades, the food here is as close to authentic as you’re going to get in the US. Most authentic gazpacho I’ve had here (except en casa), flan wonderful too. Overall, buenísimo.

We were a party of five celebrating a birthday. Most of us were under -impressed by both the food, the size of the portions, and the service as we were expecting the old Jaleo and tapas menu. The waiters brought one person’s plate way before anyone else and then started cleaning the table quickly before we were finished eating. The branzino was a very small portion and wasn’t anything special, artichokes were overcooked and bland. Drinks were good and dessert was nice.
